no im having a custom kit made up by him! cheers buddy! i got mine off ebay! update: got some more goodies! SARD Low Temp Thermostat! and Athena 1.2mm Steel Headgasket! as u can see the toyota headgaskets block off some of the waterways to aid warm up, but when tuned up that extra cooling is greatly used! more stuff to come in the post ill keep ya'll posted!

yeh sounds like stem seals matey! unfortunatly its a head off jobbie! not a 2minute job

is there blue smoke coming out of your exhaust?? if so, when does it do it... from cold, but clears uup when warm? - valve stem oil seals on boost? - turbo seals on throttle off boost? - piston rings if its burning it, those are your most likely candidates...

i had blitz access so i dont no but i think they increase it to 8600rpm.... obv since this ive had my car RR'd at 202.6bhp on stock engine and turbo @ 1.1bar, so probably gave me the edge over people running 20bhp less lol... but obv the power drops off at the rpm i was at so... there was no more to go, shame 5th isnt geared a bit better tbh tho it aint fun, i got a right sweat on! accleration makes these cars fun right

if u cut any springs make sure they sit correctly on the shock also make sure u paint em, espically were u cut them or they'll rust in days!

drained the remaining oil, god it stinks! degreased and cleaned the box... masked off important bits and bunged driveshaft holes... gave her a paint, minty fresh now!

hey chaps! bought a glanza gearbox this week w/cusco 1.5way LSD in it... the guy i bought it off told me to use some kind of special diff/gearbox oil... i usually just use decent off the shelf gearbox oil from my local motorstore? should i be using somthing special, obv i dont wana damage it cus they aint cheap! Cheers matt.

as far as im aware.... most cars run off lambda to a certain rpm... then swap to run from there map on the ecu.... but yeh giv the lambda a go and see if it makes any difference!

overfueling could be a number of things? the car standard, or got a fuel pressure reg on it? most likely lambda sensor failure? if u rev it does it clear after 4k?

hey dude! wen u get yer ecu, plug it in, start your car and let it idle for 10-15mins, without doing anything then go for a drive.... the car may get faster and faster for first few hundred miles!

tiger seal needs to be left along time if u use it in a big quantity to dry fully! wen i bodged a bumper on my old fiesta took over 3 days to dry and harden fully...

check the ignition system.... spark plugs, dizzy and rotor arm, maybe the leads? wud be my first port of call.. chances are your misfire is causing the same problem with the idle! so fix the miss fix the idle... Let us now how u get on!
