-
yeh i bought it from im, then found it on the toyosports site for £75 cheaper... but yes they are the same ones as on ebay :/ Dave Burwash, is a retailer, he didnt make the manifold.... fool!
-
with the jperformance/japspeed manifolds.... effectivly same manifold, however they went through 2 phases, the latest ones are braced and as long as there used with a braced decat they will be fine... I believe ro55fumi and Steve-GT have had no problems with them! After several months of use!

or put it BACK on ebay! lol. but yes there only good for the bin!

** AVOID EBAY MANIFOLDS ** After seeing more and more people on this forum buying them or asking about them, i thought id make this little topic so people can refer people that ask in the future! To save themselves the embarrassment and heartache! Makes me laugh when people stand there ground saying they look great how can they fail.... Well, if youve got a: Autobahn Toyosports.. etc They will fail within 2-3weeks gurantee'd! Braced Decat or Not! Dont do it cheap, spend a bit more and buy Race-Tech, Zisco, WEPR. etc PROOF: My Personal Exprience! ^^ They float around on ebay between Ã

Silverstone Yesterday, Damaged Engine - Help!
Socks replied to Taggy's topic in 4E-FTE Engine Discussions
to change the bottom end your gonna hav to do as muchwork pretty much as changing the engine anyways... alot of the pro engine builders wont warrant an engine with oversized shells... and wen u get the crank reground u get rid of the hardened coating! best bet is to find a 4e bottom end, which is where u will struggle! So you'll be after a new engine now! ether that or go forged! -
Silverstone Yesterday, Damaged Engine - Help!
Socks replied to Taggy's topic in 4E-FTE Engine Discussions
easiest option mate is new engine... easier and cheaper then, getting crank reground, all new bearings, running in etc... it'll hav spun a shell as a guess mate... might be worthwhile you getting some gauges with adjustable warning alarms.. for boost, oil pressure and water temp then u will be able to hear if a problem starts to occur when your concentrating on driving! -
same tesco.... same bloke ;)

I no the answer to this! The GT would be Me and SteveGT had a lil blip on the way back from MMRR.. His GT RR'd at 153bhp and mine rr'd at 202.6bhp... his is stripped rear end, backbox, hks actuator @0.8bar, hdi fmic, MM filter relocation, mines ecu. mine was at 1.1bar, blitz ecu, etc (highly tweaked tbh), not stripped rear tho... and i had spare wheel and boot full of cleaning gear. 0-120mph, there exactly the same. nothing in it gear for gear... we tried it several times wen we got back too on our local dualie... 3-4 times same results, same to 120mph after that i creep quite easily...
