well ideally you want some form of fuel control, SAFC would provide you with basic fuelling, but ideally you want a bit of additional control, along the lines of an e-manage. if you do it cheap then you may end up having to do it twice, so personally i'd go emanage (blue), have it fitted and mapped by a pro and you'll get the best out of the engine and turbo, if you cut corners and just use a rrfpr or basic air-flow converter then it'll never perform to its fullest, which ofcourse is then a waste of a perfectly good turbo Who's turbo is it matey?

beware if you drop it low then you WILL need a panhard rod if you dont have one already, otherwise it'll crab worse than a diseased hooker.

turn your head on its side. done.

when mine had 16's it tramlined like a c***, just didn't drive very nie at all. that may have been due to the tyres, but it did feel as though it was a little too light for anything that large, although it does work for some people if setup for it. compare that to my s14 which feels fine on 17's, although it does tend to 'grab' lines in the road as they're a good 9" wide

he crashed again? awesome. mate good luck, you're on your way now to yeah, have fun. we're all gonna be pottering around at jae so come say hi for sure, its not a 'stand' as such, just a space in a field

Current Civic EG owner but wants to go astray..

if its on the stock suspension, you will notice a massive difference after changing to upgraded shocks and springs or (decent) coilovers, the stock shocks are prob a bit tired too so thats something to consider along with the stuff mentioned above. -
its all about recirc, even flutter gets annoying when it happens alot. fair enough if you only drive the car on tracks, but day to day driving it just gets annoying. some people like em, some people dont, its personally preference, however they really don't do anything at all apart from the noise (my starlet even felt quicker after removing the 'dump to atmosphere' bov, as they can do more harm than good, not literally harm, but like, reduction in performance and/or response). tcftw

dont even begin sticking up for keighley. they're absolute horse shit, if you havent had problems, then you got lucky, but the car you bought WILL have been in an accident at some point, thats how they buy them so cheap

if you get a CLEAN black glanza, tbh it's a nice colour anyway. the metallic effect really comes out if its clean and well polished/waxed, and it can look fantastic, i doubt you'll want/need to have it resprayed, will be alot of money just to customise it a little (and as you said, jeapardise being able to sell it in future).

turbo'd 4age? that is awesome.

yeah, buy him a hooker.
-
yeah that was ricks. how odd.

EBC pads are gash in any form mate. vile horrible things.

yeah just go with the flow mate, they're entirely different cars like i said, you can't really compare the two, it just depends how you intend to drive it. if its for blapping away from lights etc, then the s14 isn't ideal, as they are so long legged, you need to have them up into triple figures to appreciate what they're good at. either that or be blapping sideways ;)

god i miss that car ;[

yeah kaido racer, forgot about that. shit game but lots of cars.

we're coming up on the friday, after work (afternoon), be me plus tc-dave in his celica gt-four, then the scottish cunts when they fly down to ricks (they'll be in with us probs).

gee, you dont release a product into mass production after testing it with only 4 units. Turbo R&D takes alot of time, and alot of money in R&D, hence why aftermarket hybrids from other manufacturers (Blitz K1, HKS GT series etc) are so expensive. The unit themselves dont cost much to produce, its the actual development that went into making sure they'd work as intended for longer than a week, you get what you pay for. To sell units based on testing only 4 examples is absolutely obsurd. It would be acceptable if it was like, a bolt in part that didn't do much mechanical work, but a t

you have no idea how deep my elbow will be in your sphincter. they'll have to use those big jaw things that they cut people out of car wrecks with, i'll glue myself in there too. you'll be like, my tent ^;
-
aha, i had a look at that glanza, wonder if anyone on here bought it in the end ;)
-
starlets common? well, yeah, however, you're now referring to a vauxhall with a c20let. You obviously don't come from a vauxhall background (many of us did), so to everyone else, big engined vauxhalls are just a tad more common than the ickle starlet imports ;) trust me, they've been around a while, hence why anything with a c20let or xe demands massive amounts of money because the engines end up in corsas and astras etc. I know the two c20xe cars my dad had ended up having their engines transplanted into something else. Good luck with whatever you do, it'll be fun.

i doubt it'll be in many future games.

i'd buy it as a daily driver, only 800quid mate. damn serious if it was closer i'd have it. decked, new carbs, filthy exhaust, and a stupid idle. heaven. someone pick it up for me and drive it down here, i'll pay ^;

a midly modded glanza would almost keep up with a standard s14 upto about 90-100, then the s14 would pull away i expect, the gearing is ENTIRELY different, completely different car to drive. Its not a back street ragger, its a long legged wangan puppy. its rare you see a standard s14 anyway, so thats a bit of a silly arguement Running an S14 is very much different to a glanza. its obviously more expensive as they are quite thirsty (well below 20mpg if ragging it), and they were a 25k car when new so they have running costs accordingly, but parts for tuning are generally cheaper, although as
