are you serious? what a noob. so you'd print out a picture of a gorgeous set of wheels and selotape it to your car so it 'looks' like you have nice wheels? but you can't actually drive anywhere, because its paper..... BUT HEY, AT LEAST IT LOOKS GOOD EH! noob. seriously, they're made of butter. never would a set of those go anywhere near any of my cars. why would you pay alot of money for a set of wheels, then only have to replace them shortly after because the laquer gets fucked within a few months, or they get kurbed/buckled easily ? they're cheap american copies, that is all. what rick s

well, normally it goes beside the fmic, but as the jam intercoolers are wider rather than thicker (like other coolers), you might have to be a bit creative. basically just get some silicone bends (big curvy one) and a straight bit of ali pipe and that should give you enough room, although if its on the stock ct9 it'll prob boost spike like an absolute cunt (due to the shite wastegate).

gg boost.

bodged home tuning + monstrous air flowing turbo = lots of lovely holes in block. gg boost.

nothing wrong with that one mate, thats a gt in japan with a jdm kit, think its a doobie or something, nice motor all round, not to everyone's tastes (or mine) but you can't condemn it from that one shitty pic. ;] least it isn't a bloody n/a conversions, i.e the lesser models trying to be something they arent, i find that far more amusing than the badly modified turbo'd ones !

so its not even a gti?? :/ um, congratulations, the only thing you've just managed to do is advertise the fact you have unusually small feet. ;]

search on here and tgtt mate, been discussed many times obviously.

The Cynos B Turbo...or Asshat as I like to call it
ecksjay replied to riko666's topic in Paseo Progress Blogs
lush mate. one point though, you wont need a 255lph walbro pump....ever, on a starlet/paseo/cynos or whatever, it aint a skyline ;) my friends using one on his 450bhp S14, and it fuels more than enough. I find it really odd that people still use those MASSIVE pumps, because they really arent needed. 215lph (say, stock skyline pump, stock evo pump etc) are more than adequate, and are like, 30quid, can save alot of money and obviously will fuel MORE than enough. this is prob why alot of tuned starbos tend to overkill on the overfuelling, its just inherent with the massive pumps where most of the -
my glanza did 250-300miles to a tank, quite easily.

get a boost gauge. i've got a hks one if you need one, £35 posted.
-
if you think its cutting at vacuum (i.e even when its not at 0.93bar which is what fuel cut should be), then it aint fuel cut mate fuel cut will ONLY activate when you hit that level, so its something else. if its happening at like vacuum pressure, then its certainly not fuel cut.

Blitz K24 with manifold sard wastegate
ecksjay replied to NightSpirit's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
that sard one will go for SILLY money mate, k24 kits always do, i expect you'll prob need to put 150k down at LEAST to be even close (the last K1 on its own, without a manifold or anything went for over 100k, for reference :/). I was offered a BRAND new sard kit (with EVERYTHING) for around 900quid delivered from japland, but obviously i have no need, used they'll obviously go for less, but there's no way to know for sure because they dont often come up for sale. i reckon that one on there will go silly money. the custom one is just....hideous. makes me shudder just thinking about it -
will do, not even sure if i'm keeping it yet, needs a good valet but i only bought it because it was over 2 grand cheaper than it should have been, and i had the cash handy, so i may sell both cars on (for profit on the s14) and see where i'm at. cheers peeps.

Blitz K24 with manifold sard wastegate
ecksjay replied to NightSpirit's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
nah mate, which one are you on about? the full sard kit or the VILE custom kit? if its the custom one, apart from the adaptor plate, everything looks nackered. the downpipe and ext. wg pipework has been rewelded more times than i've masturbated, which as you can imagine, is quite alot. i know of about 4 other people putting bids on it, so good luck to you if you can get it for good money, although it does look like alot of hassle ! -
I'm still here people ! Just been silly busy recently, i have both the S14A and the starbo still, been trying to sort them both out (i.e plan a strategy for the s14 and get the bits that need sorting on the starbo done), but they are both still here, although the starlet is looking a little sorry for itself at the minute as it isn't getting much attention As soon as she's sorted (it'll be mint as its getting pretty much a full respray) i'll get it up on here for sale. I havent had the opportunity to 'browse' as such as i've been trying to sort people out with stuff from the auctions too as

completely different shells mate, the drivetrain etc is the same, but the shell is vastly different, not a case of switching bits over easily mate. dont try to make it something it isn't, the retro gt looks are good for different reasons

the 11b will be 180-190bhp max, as explained on tgtt mate, if you're talking about vtrick's kit

HELP! lsd turbo conversion, what mounts!?!?
ecksjay replied to 1barstarlet's topic in Drivetrain & Transmission
oh yeah, its alot more difficult to put a stock lsd box in a non-lsd car than it is to just put an aftermarket lsd box in your stock box. who told you it was easy?? -
i can sort all you boys out with coilovers for good money, you should know that by now...
-
not a massive fan of the splitter mate, but its different. red wheels are definately for the win though
-
behave, they're far superior, plus, they were less than a third of the price...... yahahaharrrr! Also, im very surprised at how clean it looks tbh, which is surprising because water hasn't gone near it for close to 2 months. Plus, i was covered in shit just opening the door, let alone changing the wheels, its like, covered in soot or something....
-
i remember seeing that in japan when it was for sale, quite cheap too.

hks filters are renowned for being not ideal for our climate, they tend to just, dry up/break up and crumble away, which aint the best if its sucked into the engine Just go with a K&N panel filter, cotton gauze etc is the best for our climate, plus they give you million mile guarantee's and really are the leaders in the field (alot of jap manufacturers just sell rebadged versions of their stuff). plus, they're cheap

What is it with all these Starlets being crashed lately?

as above, experience is taking other driver's poor abilities into account, so it goes both ways, and is still perfectly valid
