roast?

if you can remove em neatly, you'll find (as we did) that when they're chopped off they will need alot of metal for cross bracing etc (but we were mounting a sports recliner which sits on top, so was easier) as the actual base of the stock seat is used for rigidity rather than just the frames, so what you get off will be weak flimsy little pieces of shit and just generally a pain in the ass, so will require welding etc etc. not the best design to work with really but you gotta deal with it in the best way you can. If you do manage to get em off in a usable condition then you will need to add something to them to be able to use them. the seat i recieved last night off paul (who collected it from scutch for me) is custom in its entirety, i havent had the chance to have a good look at it yet but its a complete bit of custom metalwork, so should be nice and strong, but from what i can see it doesnt use the sliding functions, unlike my custom recaro recliner frame which we managed to use and retain the sliding functions as the stock seat does, but i'm sure you'll figure something out when you get stuck into it.

a 4age? BLASPHEMY!!!

yep the original frame isnt actually a frame, its PART of the seat, only way to remove it (which we had to for my recaro) was to angle grind it apart and hack it to pieces, then try and fabricate some sort of framework (although we managed to retain all sliding actions etc as the original seat uses). its a bit of a nightmare really, you can get official frames but they aint cheap.

.......of your weener?

No arguement here.

Never said anything was wrong with em, just like the hks and blitz items personally (except the mammoth route the blitz kit takes with the piping).
-
um, would someone elses hand fit right on if you just severed both off and tried to swap em round??? no, they wouldnt now would they, what a silly question! you'll prob need to get the hacksaw out mate, or at least be very inventive. although, anything thats come from a corsa doesn't belong on a starlet.
-
well they'd need one hell of a payout to buy me mate, i'm high class stuff me. none of this low cost rent boy shit.
-
want me to come round and polish it up with my tits? i'll be naked etc.
-

yeah bit of a pain, shame they repaired it because i would've liked to go home its still howling out so you never know, might get lucky again also, i only go that way when i go to my gf's in bedminster now, if i go straight across at the lights (through the little lane that goes through compton martin, and onto the chew valley lakes etc) it actually ends up in pensford which is right by my house, so its far quicker to get home and alot more fun hehe glad you're alright mate, might be worth checking with the electricity guys to see if you can claim, or ask a solicitor etc or even pose the question to your insurance company.
ok, so i was minding my own business today driving down the road next to my lane i live on, when suddenly a tree fell down in front of me, luckily i managed to stop but then the power lines came down thanks to the tree, they were hitting each other and flashing etc.. so i quickly pulled into someones drive to avoid the tree and then heard the horrible noise of scratching paint and the whipping noise on the roof as the lines came down, luckily i managed to avoid injury but my sister had a massive asthma attack and had to be carried up the road to the doctors, as soon as its all cleared up i will be able to see if theres any damage to my car and how bad it is, im sat at home now with no power, and ive only just had my roof resprayed the only reason im not at work was i had to go to my aunties funeral today, but cant now as ive got no transport and its in devon. moral of my story is be carefull in the wind etc.. as its getting bad at least were ok though Dave
shit dude, sorry to hear that, thats a bit poo! our power went out here for like over an hour, so thats probably why! we're only down the road from you. i tried convincing em to let me go home but they werent having it

or just use some ali piping from ebay, some silicone bends from ebay aswell ans you're laughing. or go to an exhaust place and have them fab you up a kit.
-
for a pod you'll want to go to Nomad racing mate, or ebay (cheap as chips on ebay). in regards to those gauges, they look like complete shit, but thats just my opinion. Stick with JDM manufacturers mate, mechanical JDM gauges can be had relatively cheap if you dont go for one with an electrical control unit, but definately stick with blitz/apexi/hks/defi/omori/sard etc etc (could be here for a while )
-
by the way, i'll do you it cheaper than 350, that was an original proposed price, would be willing to do it cheaper now. other than that, the top two you've suggested are wank, look at those 90 degree bends, hahahahahaha...... the blitz is the only decent one, but it depends what you're after. im running 1bar on a stock top mount fine, and alot of japs run upto k24 kits on the stock intercooler, so an arc top mount would and should handle 200bhp just fine. obviously its gonna suffer when sat in traffic, but you aint driving quick or needing bhp in that situation, when you're hooning it round a track it shouldnt matter at all, plus its alot ligher with no additional pipework and absolutely zero lag (unlike the other long piped fmic's). Other than that, the blitz or hks kits are the only ones i'd go for.
-
thats alot for the gauges from japan, i presume thats off the auctions? i like going for used sets with all the sensors and gubbins etc, plus you get that jdm slagness with em

mine was the same mate, when i bypassed it i gained a huge amount of torque, and some good bhp due to the increased boost (mine was boosting to around 0.8bar also). now i have a blitz access ecu i boost happily at between 0.9 and 1bar all day long, accompanied with a blitz decat and a blitz dual-sbc electronic boost controller (wow, that sounds like i have a proper blitz fetish ). now mine's permanently bypassed and controlled via the electronic boost controller (configurable within the car at the touch of a button), and i've actually removed the original boost solenoid completely as its not needed. If your MBC is plumbed up correctly then tweak it slightly and see what happens - you have fuel cut (and obviously hit it previously) so you wont have to worry about damaging anything as the ecu will cut the fuel and save the engine from any serious harm (whereas i could easily blow something up big style as i have no limiters of any kind with my ecu, so i have to use an electronic boost controller with an automatic boost limiter set before i even start playing with the boost, that way if something does happen then the dual solenoids of the boost controller will stop the engine from going into self destruct mode ).
