they're light and cheap for a reason unfortunately , not like the originals.

it has a sard ecu? correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure those remove the speed limiter altogether, in the same muchness as the blitz and jam units do, so why there's a pivot thing in there i dont know. ive no idea what rpm im doing at that sort of speeds but yours does sound a little high (may be wrong though, done usually have time to check).
-
sounds like the speed limiter to me mate, is it just sitting there or bouncing off like its being limited? if not, then si may be right, it may have shorter gearing (which would make sense if it was a track motor) meaning it gets there chuffing fast but wont do much more.

or instead go for one which isnt a total rip off. there's a seller on ebay which does the filters for about £4 delivered, used em repeatedly and they work a treat. they're OEM filters. all these expensive ones are wastes of money, if it was magnetic and storing stuff/stopping stuff moving then it'd clog up, so just go for one of the OEM ones and change it every time you change the oil, its cheap enough to do so

i thought of spanner after clicking the post button, then forgot to re-visit.... i think there are several names for em to be honest, the japs certainly vary what they call them whatever they are, its what you'll need anywho. they SHOULD all be pretty generic but best to get a few and try em out.

the height changing will be done with some L-clamp things, like hooks, dunno what they're called but you'll know em if you see em.

you're shouting about qualifications? what a penis, people are trying to help and you act like a gay about it. level 3....oh wow.....my god, i bow down to your greatness.... accept people's help when they offer it, especially if they obviously know what they're talking about. pillock.

rain doesn't get the mud off? maybe not, but it gets it wet, thus, it looks a little cleaner. remains filthy when it dries but who cares. if i do ever clean it, i use a sponge and a bottle of wash&wax, job done. do it as quick as i possibly can, i absolutely hate cleaning cars, its an absolute nightmare, and horribly annoying. plus i end up soaking wet as i cannot seem to ever control a hose. plus, its absolutely filthy again after two days because my commute takes me through agricultural roads, so it doesn't last long at all. so, rain is my washing method, and will remain to be for the

you'll need the hook tools to wind them up, they're readily available depending on what brand the coilovers are. send me a pic and i can tell you/find you some.

I think you'll find that wasn't me who discussed that, i merely enforce it also, that just sounds like....an automotive forum. what will you be offering that the millions of forums already existing do not?
-
a forum less strict than tgtt....with the same topic.... oh i believe that was a dangerous idea young gee'walker, this could once again escalate.... I do wonder what your logic is though, whats the idea and philosophy behind this? have you created your own definition of slagness and decided to empart such a wisdom upon the world? as mentioned before, its more of an unspoken thing, something which happens without really trying, otherwise next thing you know you'll have chavs slagging up the jdm's left right and centre, which would obviously make baby jesus cry. AND BABY JESUS DOES NOT LIKE

eh? like i said, unless you know the mapping, whether its aggressive or not wont matter, the only way you'll be able to modify the ignition/fuel timing/curves will be with an emanage (£250 for everything including the harnesses and sensors approximately, plus fitting and mapping, so prob the same price as an ecu, plus it'll be mapped exactly for your circumstances). i'm keeping an eye out for more ecu's, one went today for around the 450 mark on tgtt. if i spot any i'll post em up here.
-
hit or miss really mate, if you want an exact tune for a good price your best bet is something like a greddy e-manage. ....or a power fc, i've just sold one for £710.
