How much would a average set of 15s with tyres weigh?
ecksjay replied to Tommy_G's topic in Lifestyle General
yeah i'd say on AVERAGE around 10-15kg with tyres, thats on generic shit, not JDM lightweight jobbies. i picked up some 14's today, 4.1kg per wheel ;) -
Ye sound bud, as soon as i find something along the lines of defi or other electronic gauges i'll let you know, hit me up on msn and we can chat there. madharry2k@hotmail.com is mine mate, i aint bothered about giving it out really. Thats fine about the seats, its just provisional price as they're mint (and one of the recaro's cost me £550 brand new from recaro ;)), and comes with original bride frames. Depending on which bride you have (send me a pic), it may be practically impossible to retrim, some of the shapes on them are so insane that they're pretty much impossible to trim, o

bit of a mish mash in there, coming along nicely. just a note, dont worry about 'matching' the door card material to the seats, firstly the cloth is gash, secondly the labour would cost more than it'd be worth anyway, if you're gonna do it, might aswell jazz it up with some decent material (possibly matching or complimentary colour to the exterior of the car). many different ways you can do it really, but best thing you can do is be patient and see what ideas you get.

good work for getting rid of the hks filter (they're very bad, and can be very dangerous to your engine), but new steering wheel is gash, old one was much better in my opinion.
-
ye these wouldnt fit a starlet ofcourse, due to the stud pattern, also et35 may cause rubbing on the inner arch/suspension struts on a 15" wheel, but the only way you'd know would be to try it (if you can try em for free for a while), but otherwise, its not worth risking it.

nah not a fan mate, just dont look right. cant put my finger on it but its just something i noticed. ollie - nothing major, just had a disagreement with some bushes will be sorted soon though as its only a lick of paint (should be better than it was before). ...then she'll be up for sale, which is a shitter as i wont even get to enjoy it.

saw it tonight mate, just one thing - the small jap plate on the rear looks a bit, well, out of place, don't look right on a uk model in my opinion, just didnt look right (the front one looked fine though). apart from that it looked well (....although was it parked in a bus stop?? )

was the worlds quickest production car at one point, and its AWESOME. read up on it, its an absolute legend.

yeah moving that little block round helps infinately from what i heard. quickshift dont make much difference - just makes the throw shorter.

plymouth superbird, one of the best cars, like, ever. also, you want me to find a car and turn it into a silhouette or is there somewhere i can find one to use? :/
-
ALL weekend?? i did mine in a few hours (never done it before EVER), in the rain, on a piece of land which was severely slanted, with a tiny little piss poor excuse for a jack (OEM ford pile of crap), with no assistance, whilst hungover. but as i'm awesome........well, thats about it. i'm awesome. the end. ;d

Air filter relocation...the result
ecksjay replied to NightSpirit's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
wait and see then, almost everyone that does that with the stock ct9 suffers from something erratic, well, i think having decat/unrestricted exhaust makes it worse, but we'll see how it goes, must be a lucky one. was it just a bit of silicone hose or you have something fabbed up? -

nice mate, but i can almost guarantee that unless by some graces of god you get away with it, you'll suffer from immense boost creep and/or very erratic boost with it there and with such short pipework, the ct9 is shit so if you do that to it, it sends it crazy as it cant expel what its sucking in -
ahahahahaha too late!!
-
wow, thats a huge meet, starlet wise, considering! i hate that livesports kit, i know akki loves it but i like the stock optional splitters so much more its unreal, but each to his own really! good work mate, wicked turnout!
-
thats not half as bad as its been before, look through the tatsu pics, its been ALOT worse previously i just dont get the chance though, and when i do i just give it a quick mop over, comes up lovely, i dont have the inclination or time/effort to spend hours applying wax and all that crap, i dont get much time off as it is
