...where does it show a cat? do you know what a cat looks like? thats just a middle-box, silencer type thing, used in japland to control emissions/noise etc (hence why jap exhausts although cool for the brand, arent actually the best exhausts to get, well, not if you're swapping turbo's anyway). on the stock ct9 they're fine as they provide some back pressure, which the ct9 needs greatly as the wastegate is shit, but if you were to go for something bigger or a hybrid etc, nothing jdm wise will beat a custom exhaust, just because they become restrictive to meet various jap regulations etc.

they'll be tight in the arch, closer to the strut, so depending on how wide they are and what tyres on there you may get into trouble, but it all depends on the car (how low it is, tracking etc), you may be fine, only way to know is to try.

depends, mine was £100 fitted, but i got a bargain really, but i knew the guy so it was cool. i can get em from auctions, depending on how much they sell for they're usually around 150 quid, but can be more as they're getting more and more expensive. and i told you, when you're sat on my face, you can do what you want with my car.

you can get shitty stainless steel ones, which are useless unless they have a brace, or do it properly and get a blitz decat, which is made of god himself. ;]

just get a voltmeter or something if you want a gauge - but in my opinion pointless gauges are silly anyway unless they're actually doing something. i dont even run a boost gauge anymore!

a simple db gauge is silly, a proper IASCA spec sound pressure meter which is even remotely accurate requires particular conditions, to be in a partular place, and cant just be temporarily mounted in the car. i've never seen one in a universal 60mm gauge form, it will be a proper external briefcase sized audio processing unit or similar.
