  1. you get what you pay for mate, you can't tell me they dont look the shit now can you gorgeous wheels, but thats why they cost what they do. they're 4x100 yes mate, offset of around ET37'ish. I suggest sticking with 15's, 16's tend to mess the car up somewhat, as its such a small hatchback. feels very skittish on them and spoils the drivability, 15's with 50 profile tyres is what you want. What are you after? I may have some black 15" RS-Eight split rims sometime soon, they're due in mid january but i'll check to see if they'll be here sooner (they're the same style as the 14's i have for sale, but in black, with a lip you can paint whatever colour you want, currently red i believe ;)). should be within your price range also. failing that, i'm considering selling my 14" SSR's..... pic below....
  2. why didnt you take the bloody bumper off you muppet ! ;) hahaha, unlucky mate, but its cool you've taken it in good humour, because it is a bit silly, if a little messy!
  3. ultraleggaras bend like they're made of butter. buddyclubs dont last very long laquer wise, neither do rota. 16's are too big for a starlet, you lose all drivability, 15's with 50's is what you want.
  4. you knew it was gone but still drove it? hope nothing else is gone, but jesus christ thats dangerous! if something else has gone (which i'd be surprised if it hadn't) then it'd be your own fault really ;) also, a full set of trd mounts can be had for like 75 quid
  5. ye sounds like it was a heat thing, and if it was a GT then the leads would've been corroded etc anyway and needed replacing. i'm not saying they dont serve a purpose, because they obviously do, but all this hype about super-duper leads/plugs etc is nonsense, they will make little difference to using good quality items which obviously cost alot less, than paying megabucks for fancy colourful ones which generally do the same job. there's basically much more worthwhile things to spend your money on. providing they're in good condition etc then they should be fine.
  6. melted? that was prob from heat under the engine bay more than anything ;)
  7. what colours can you get em in? superturismo's would look nice in white, the silver is far more common/seems to be the most popular. never seen any standard colours other than that from oz?
  8. not your fault mate, mytyres aint the easiest to use (shit site)..... what you need to put in is as follows;- in the selection boxes, 195 / 50 R15. leave the Speed Index as it comes (H: upto 130mph for me), shouldnt matter really. then out of the four bullet point options, select 'All' (instead of either, Summer, All-season tyre or Winter tyre). i also leave 'Your top recommendation !!!' ticked too. then hit '--search for tyre--' just underneath the text above, ignore all the text underneath this top section aswell as the second '--search for tyre--' button, use the top one. then on page 5 i've noticed they have Uniroyal Rainsports for like £34.20 (cracking tyres, not literally ), which do the same job if not better than eagle f1/t1-r's, plus are better suited to our climate as they're even better in the wet than in the dry, which as it rains lots over here means they're shit hot. they arent rain tyres specifically, just really good all rounders (and will prob last longer than the goodyears/toyos). If you go to page 6, the 8th tyre down SHOULD be Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's, which are the ones you want (for around £35 a corner). Toyo T1-R's are on page 3 at around £30 a corner, for reference.
  9. ah, speedlines, was presuming standard on glanza's etc. in that case, get some 195/50R15 eagle f1's from mytyres.com @ £37 a corner (i think, give or take a few quid).
  10. i wouldnt go yoko's again personally, not when compared to eagle f1's or t1-r's etc. i had a set of yoko dna gp's, and those were like ice skates. a539's are better but still nothing compared to eagle f1's. they're in a different league. i have some bridgestone potenza G-II's on the 14" SSR's (195/60R14) and they seem to grip well round the twisties, havent lost it yet and i drive it hard. not so great in a straight line, but that'll be the 1bar and lack of an LSD causing that, well, off the line anyway, they're fine when you're moving. Got some budgets on the rear that i'd strangely impressed with too. They're 'Courier Monza's', which i found out is a sub-division of Pirelli. I had them laying around from some random odd wheels i bought (racing sparcos) so thought i'd use em as they were basically brand new, and i needed some on the rear anyway as the other two bridgestones were completely bald. anyway, they've done a swell job considering the abuse they get. they haven't EVER let go (even in heavy rain) which is quite impressive, although the glanza is very much more prone to understeering than oversteering (unlike the gt) so for the price i paid for em (i.e nothing) they're done a bloody good job. not tried em on the front but if i do then i dont see why they wouldnt do a reasonable job, they're sized 195/60R14 also. standard wheels were 14's, so it would've been something like 195/60 or 175/65.
  11. i may have some 14" black w/ polished lip 4-spoke ssr's for sale soon.... .....or some 15" RS-Eights, same style as the 14" RS-Eights i'm selling, split rims, but in black this time, not silver. Going on a gt or a uk model?
  12. maybe not on a uk model as they're more euro styled, but on a gt it clashes in my opinion, gt's are prob the most late 80's jap design around, hence why they get confused with pulsars/older 323's etc. OZ's are decent enough wheels. Would love some of the older rally slag style, in white, you know with silly small spokes and a flat dish in middle, enkei do some similar, need to get me some of those
  13. i prefer 195/50R15's personally, and 195/60R14's on my smaller slags, 45's are a little too hard and rough for my liking, 50's tend to grip better also.
  14. ....which ones did you order??? think i missed it.
  15. exactly. there's scientific evidence that in most instances they pretty much dont do anything, but as above they do pretty things up a little. mine were on from when it landed in uk. i'll have em checked soon aswell as the plugs but ive no misfires etc so should be fine.
  16. joz...how could you.... recommending euro style wheels to a lad with an obviously jdm gt.... tisk tisk, shame on thee. by the way, superleggara's bend like a flaccid penis. they're light, but for good reason, they've got nothing on forged rims (certain rays/ssr etc).
  17. mine are blue. ngk maybe? realistically, i dont care what they are. they create a spark, if it makes a different, then my name is edgar bowinkle (got some awesome literature explaining how different plugs/leads for the majority of the time are a complete waste of money, well, for all these supposed uprated ones anyway). apart from being pretty colours anyway....
  18. it those exact wheels you're after?
  19. finally, a woman who appreciates a bit of felching.
  20. in 15's i'd go for 50 profile, 45's tend to be a little harsh on bumps etc i find. you ordered brand new oz f1's? fair shout!
  21. amuse, pleasure, disturb, you get the whole package with me sweet lips.
  22. ....followed by eating yours.
  23. If thats a genuine offer, pm me.
  24. that is begging for some new wheels. wink wink
  25. eat his children.
