far too much work mate, the roof makes up a huge part of the structural rigidity of the car, you'll prob find that most insurance companies will write off a car if there's a hole in the roof (good way to write someones car off, just stab a screwdriver through the roof ). Would take alot of work to brace and re-inforce the chassis of the vehicle. if you just chopped the roof off it'd probably just bend in half on itself! not exactly feasable mate it'd weigh about twice as much as a normal starlet too, which is why alot if not most convertible cars are slower than the saloon/hatch/coupe equiva

looks fine mate. my arc bov was the worst culprit for chucking out oil, it just dumped the fumes (which is all it is, the fumes collecting and turning into liquid) straight down onto the rocket cover, which resulted in quite a mess. never used any excess oil though as it was just purely vapour collecting in a little pool of oil. bit of oil in the intercooler is fine too mate, nothing to worry about unless its like, massive amounts, its just excess residue.

ye thats what i was thinking rubix. to be honest, the features and absolute ingenuity of the Wii is why im gonna get one, the price is just an after thought, the way you can interact with the games using the awesome controllers is just genius, it makes playing with a pad (which is another thing that annoys me about the ps3, apart from movement sensitive and wireless its the SAME CHUFFING CONTROLLER! they could've come up with a new bloody design) seem old fashioned. also, that advert sums it up perfectly. cant wait for wii, gonna be uber!

for the price, you'll be able to buy both an xbox360 AND a Wii, with change to spare, for beer etc. Until it drops drastically in price, i wont even consider one. it prob takes up as much space as the other two also!

any uprated spring will reduce the life of the shock mate, its not just about how low they are, but how tightly they're wound etc, the less give they have, the more the shock will have to compensate and as such, even if you lower it slightly, it could still go pop shortly after. for £170ish, you could get a very nice uprated shock/spring combo, used ofcourse, but hell, mine cost me half that and has been going strong for years

i plugged mine in and it started on the key, worked no probs, same with swapping to the standard one. something must've been wrong for it not to run properly first time swapping it over

Well there is a slight difference mate, but not enough that you'd think "man this is SO much quicker!". Might be worth just trying one in yours and seeing if there is a difference at all, rather than going balls out and buying one if that aint really the problem. you could have a boost leak somewhere if its noticably slower, or the other glanza you drove may have just had other mods, bypassed, decat, mani etc (jam mani looks stock, gutted cat etc). Might wanna check all the hosing in/around your bov, there's alot of it so might have a small leak somewhere.

the 'true' 35% uprated exedy is around the £250+ region, which is the same as a decent paddle clutch, the one everyone thinks is 35% uprated actually is not, its just a replacement for the standard clutch. might have slightly better quality materials but the pressure plate etc is of the same strength, so no it'll only handle standard power, or as much power as the standard one will hold If you're gonna be tuning then you might aswell replace with a better clutch, rather than having to whip it out again if you shove loads more torque/power through it (and as such, it doesnt hold).

well the exedy isn't an upgrade, just a standard replacement clutch, stock oem pressure plate etc, but its a new clutch at least, although if your fly is warped it'll still be juddery

e-manage is good yes, but if you're wanting to go more hardcore, the e-manage ultimate should do the job. Its a piggyback still yes, but it does pretty much everything that the power fc can do, but is prob slightly cheaper. Some people have actually said its better than the FC, but how true that is i dont know, although for your provisional setup, an Ultimate would be more than up to the job

i'd be here all night naming pets, we have (and have had) quite a few! ye i agree, glanza bumpers etc would look far better, but better still, just get a glanza altogether. the wait and save will be worth it, trust me.
