  1. Haha, thats my old school ollie
  2. jesus, looking at it again makes me feel really quite sick..
  3. they can do whatever you want mate, 35-40 should be ok, providing they're 15's or below. I'm selling two sets of rims, look in the classifieds, if you're after other jdm stuff, pm me and i'll see what i can source in japan and from my other sources
  4. 4x100 ET37 is what you need. Also, it depends which honda wheels. if they're 4x100, they'll fit, but you need to make sure the offset is ok.
  5. the proper ones are no longer available, no.
  6. punto's are 4x98pcd, so no, they prob wont fit unless they're multistud.

    wheels

Check the classified section, i have two sets of JDM wheels for sale.
  8. ah just watched it with sound, i know what you mean now when you say poor glanza, sounds painful
  9. yours is a 98/99 model yes mate? if you drove a 96/97 glanza then it would've felt a little quicker, because they are. the 98/99 models have more restrictive ecu's in them due to regulations and shit, meaning they're more efficient and quieter, but at a sacrifice for a little bit of power, this has been discussed in depth before on tgtt etc. I dont get any wheel spin out of second mate, realistically, if its spinning, then you need to adjust your driving style slightly because you're just wasting power/speed, either that, or the car's like, silly power (like the 300bhp+ ones going about).
  10. wait and save for a glanza, then you wont waste money on a uk glanza which wont be worth much more than what you paid for it, thus you're basically pissing it away, or you might aswell! also, that remix kit is HORRIBLE! i've never seen it before, but fucking hell, its one of the most horrific things i've ever seen, and thats being kind! You'll be so much happier if you wait and save mate, i always regretted spending money on my first few cars, because it was a complete waste, then i waited and saved for what i wanted and it really is the better thing to do, far more sensible
  11. ye you cant compare the two, but there we go, thats why you dont see drifting fwd's in d1 events etc
  12. fair enough for wanting to know what it feels like. although. that aint drifting, its sliding without any control, drifting is obviously quite a bit different, but i'm sure you know that anyway. everyone's done the 'ol tray thing so can't really judge at the end of the day, it a bit of fun. defo get yourself in a proper rwd when you can, you'll see the difference for yourself then
  13. 8" wide? jesus christ, you gonna remove....well....everything then? What are they, 14's or 15's? with 8JJ you'll be pushing it, would be quite a bit of fun trying to get it to fit though Not sure on hub adaptors but i'm sure you'll be able to find something with a search, might have to spend a silly amount getting some custom made though (then you will need to piss about with getting them to fit due to the width). Will certainly be interesting.
  14. running out of revs, yes, but that doesn't mean you're getting ANY more power, im sure if you look at the peak power graph you'll find its achieved far less than the rev limit, meaning, if you change gear earlier, you'll be within the power band more and as such theoretically be quicker, if you just keep revving and revving the power will be tailing off and you wont actually be gaining anything, most likely you'll be slower. I've never OWNED a 4efe myself no mate, but that theory is pretty generic throughout all n/a engines, bar a select few ofcourse.
  15. short of redrilling the wheels or changing the hub or using a hub adaptor, no.
  16. .....or get a 4efte. you wont get much/any benefit from just raising the rev limit, because peak torque is probably achieved at FAR less than the redline anyway, prob around 5krpm, so revving in any higher would actually be slowing you down anyway.
  17. ye mine fluttered when i tightened the ARC bov up, but it was certainly not wastegate chatter, because there's no such thing now i've removed it its back to having absolutely nothing, which is far more pleasureable, relaxing, ahhh.
  18. which one was that? there's a few going about, most are unbadged actually which is quite cool for that 'sleeper' look, unfortunately its not easy to get that effect with a glanza as people will always wonder what the fuck it is
  19. Oh no i didnt mean to put a downer on it mate, i mean, they're very popular! my friend has one on his 200, but i know they're very popular on the corsa sites (as i used to own one), and about 10+ people have em on tgtt! its a cheap and effective mod, brings the front of the car down so easily, its a very versatile handy mod, unfortunately text cannot put across the way things are meant, so it wasn't a negative comment. Whether it looks better is a matter of opinion, i prefer the standard optional splitters, they look like they're meant to be there if you know what i mean, i gave a positive com
  20. stick with 15's for showing off mate, 14's for track usage, the benefit of lightweight 14's has to be experienced to be believed, its such a massive different its unbelievable
  21. ye they're popular with the corsa/saxo/everyone scene, haha, but they do the job and cost nowt. aint the paint chipping off though? usually painted ones crack etc because its rubber, depends how careful you are though i guess.
  22. JDM = Japanese Domestic Market. USDM would be United Stated Domestic Market. basically just means things which which were originally destined/designed for the japanese market, to suit their styles, their needs, their trends etc. if somethings JDM, its very japanese in style, meaning it'll look like it should be rolling around on the streets of osaka/tokyo etc, not necessarily along the streets of hull....
