  1. oh ah i could've stated that, but i thought it just went without saying ;)
  2. you hit fuel cut at 0.7bar? either somethines wrong or your gauge is VERY innacurate ;) Fuel cut comes in at just over 0.9bar, around 0.93bar i believe. I'm boosting at around 0.85bar and dont hit fuel cut, sometimes goes to 0.9 if its cold. i'll be wiring up my ebc tonight to give me some control over the boost and as such can tweak it down slightly when it is alot colder (i still have the cat in by the way ;)). Those boost levels were recorded with two mechanical gauges and an electronic one, so i know they're accurate. sorry for hijack!
  3. whichever has young college girls walking along it. and a subway so i can eat whilst watching said college girls.
  4. im always about mate as you know.
  5. i've no idea whats going on, is he gonna challenge you or something? what is race wars? you want me to felch him for you?
  6. well if you have lowering springs, then those shocks aren't designed for them, you need uprated dampers which are suited to lower/firmer springs, the standard replacements ones are NOT designed for such a purpose.
  7. hahahaahah nice way of putting it lobotomy, aint the neatest but certainly aint the worst i've seen, its actually funky, and pink, i like it also, julien, quite an interesting shade! was that a request from his wife or just a matching colour for the car? as its custom panels you could always change what you've got in there, mix and match with electronic gizmos etc and have some new panels trimmed up and such, have different combinations and colours in there or whatever, could get quite creative
  8. they all came from same dealer, they get em quite cheap so put em on all their glanzas.
  9. yeah i've never actually hit fuel cut, but in the winter when booting it i'd have the engine management light come on meaning i was just about to hit fuel cut. turning the car off and on again cleared it, so ye, the cold air certainly affects things as its not done it since!
  10. pm replied to nothing personal was meant mate, im interested in seeing what happens to cars i work on, its very interesting when you see what happens to em. aint seen it about recently though unfortunately. be interesting to see what they ripped off it, apart from the problems i mentioned it had some lush goodies on it, was considerably lower than it is now though (as i mentioned in pm regarding suspension), bang a set of 14's on it and it'd sit lovely, would be quicker too as those wheels are very heavy! (i know, i had em!).
  11. well that looks familiar it came in with mine, i took a look at it when it was at the docks, had gorgeous 15" advan's on it at the time, what reason they took em off and put fox's on i dont know. my cousin did the sva, and as it was from CID (seen from the number plate) it was one i was gonna buy, until i saw it first hand at the docks. i imagine they've had it repaired since? it was an absolute minger when it came in, knocking like a dirty bitch, something underneath the skin was seriously wrong where is it to now? it was on ebay a while back, still in bristol, not sure what happened to it
  12. looks alright are they actual rays?
  13. i can get on it as a guest, but as soon as i try to log on it fucks up, then i have to clear the cookies to even be able to see the site again. piece of shit!!!
  14. ROFL well thats the curse of a 3 wheeler im sure. that looks mental! fair shout.
  15. sounds like either a vacuum leak (check ALL the hoses) or the actuator as you've found out, but 128mm will not be 0.5bar on every car, they're ALL different, the only way you'll tune it is to adjust it in small increments and see how it affects the boost, you've obviously got yours set very low, or have a vacuum leak (cracked wastegate would prob lead to tremendous boost creep, not a sudden boost drop as such, but it is possible im sure). adjust the actuator accordingly and see how you get on, otherwise, find the leak
  16. good girl none of this 3d junk, get some proper lights, also, crack em a bit too, get em totally slagged
  17. as jay said, yes it matters mate, all depends on the size and type of wheel/tyre, but yes, even that little difference can affect things unfortunately. i expect the offsets got something to do with it shaun, its more obvious on the drivers side because obviously the axle is slightly across due to the shit stock panhard rod, but if the wheels were the right offset then there would be alot less chance, its just more apparent!
  18. its the whole unit? i might be interested jay, scutch already has half of it, seems a waste to split it i want it
  19. if the offset of the wheels are correct then they shouldnt rub, unless something is wrong, especially on the front. rears might need panhard rod but max i've see it out is about 4mm which isn't enough to cause scrubbage. check the offset of your wheels guys
  20. ye the reason i mentioned it was because his rear tyres were getting chewed to pieces.
  21. looks good mate. sorted out that rubbing yet? the curse of having it too low unfortunately...
  22. not likely mate, your best off getting a hks actuator to set the boost, then use either an mbc/ebc to give you a little easier control over the boost. the stock one prob wont handle all that gubbins
