  1. yep thats your best bet mate. ye they dont mention being uprated etc, hence the price really, but koni's bang for buck are prob the best around mate, and are damper adjustable!
  2. told you on msn mate, and i dont want/like d2's as im going for an all JDM theme, d2's etc would be the complete opposite of that, plus i'd rather not have coilovers, if possible, unless they're tein/trd/cusco etc.
  3. yeah andy's is a good bet mate, surprised you didnt get it in the first place.
  4. yeah camskill dont do uprated ones, hence he's prob better off with koni's or something, which are shit hot in their own right... think funkystyling got them? have a gander.
  5. well thats not true shaun, uprated kyb's are mint, if they're just silly normal replacement for the standard shocks (kyb make the original shocks in alot of modern cars, germans etc too, not just japs ) then yeah they're poo, but the uprated jobbies are excellent. bit rare though unfortunately, unless you buy from japan.
  6. yeah least your alright mate, still annoying. have you found another one then? what one you getting?
  7. the ones on camskill are just replacements for the standard items, not meant to be uprated etc or for performance lowering springs. they'll prob take it, but thats pushing them beyond what they were intended to do, i.e the spring/loading for performance springs wont be best matched, compared to performance specific shocks. uprated ones in the KYB range will be something like the NEW SR shock, or the SuperSpecial/Hillclimb editions etc.
  8. holy shit mate, you escaped that fucking narrowly, that could've bloody killed you or disabled you very easily glad to know your ok mate, and this is a true waste as that thing was an absolute minter of a uk ep91, a real real shame! how are the wheels mate? did they manage to escape the carnage at all?
  9. holy fucking jesus christ! saw this on friday and it looks very nice, cant believe this happened!!! what happened mate? did he just drive it into a fucking wall or something? i would've kicked the fucking living shit into someone if they did that to my car... aint had the best of luck have you!
  10. lift off oversteer? starlets are understeering little bitches, they hate oversteering, little gits bloody solid rear suspension crap
  11. err, that looks like a 4G63 guys, from either the old vr4 or from an early evo. it was at japfest too, looked nice. behave, fto engines are bags of shit, rediculously slow!
  12. welcome mate. i might be in possesion of another set of racing sparcos soon so if i do i'll pop em up here for all to see, if you're interested in changing em. what GAB stuff is on the car? it has GAB stickers so just wondering if it has gab suspension or braces etc...
  13. not sure where the gt4 turbo bit came from, the subaru td04 conversion is the usual route, but yes she looks good mate very standard and very clean, the way toyota intended first mods should really be suspension and brakes before you do anything, wheels and good tyres would be worth a look too. power is no good unless you can keep em on the road. good luck mate.
  14. ah it was just an intercooler spray, MUCH different to water injection mate! water injection is an entirely different thing altogether, far more complicated and not even closely related.
  15. you'd certainly be hard pushed, dave's ct9 hybrid which i wanted (before he sold it :/) was a CT12 hybrid (i think, may have been a CT20...) and apparently was rr'd at around 180bhp. on a STOCK ct9 you'd be lucky to get much more than that, if that at all. As above they're at their limits at 1bar which is prob around the 160-180bhp region depending on other mods, so 210bhp on stock turbo internals would be quite a task (not impossible, but there are easier routes).

ah looked good guys, might try and make it next year (didnt know it would be such a big event this time, was too lazy to research it )
  17. i think dark starlet is the one who sold it to him mate
  18. the panhard rod is NOTHING to do with your front wheels mate, its all to do with the solid rear axle. you need to get your tracking/camber/toe-in adjusted, get it laser aligned etc.
  19. did i just read that right, £3800? jeeesus, expensive over there! by the way, which part of poland are you from? i'm part polish and have ALOT of relatives over there in Poznan
  20. well they are if they're lowered, otherwise they're complete sloppy bastards. :/
  21. its not actually a 'must', we measured daves and the offset of the rear axle was minimal, less than 5mm, nothing to worry anyone about. providing the wheels are the correct offset/width/diameter etc they should be fine. in my opinion its an unneeded addition, from our measurements anyway.
  22. jesus christ, straight swap? bargain for shaun if you ask me (well, unless its fucked...). should definately see it at tatsu meet, hopefully sort myself out with suspension by then, either that or a new car, getting silly waiting now!!
  23. thought you'd either have andy's or some of his parts, nice to see you moving up in the world mate, although that white interior is, well, an 'aquired' taste... like the buddy clubs too, always been a fan, quite common now but still good wheels (surprised geeuk's didnt last very long due to winter salt etc but prob lasted better than most). be good to see you about mate. it have any other interesting mods at all? did you end up insuring it properly or keep with the dodgy route?
  24. nice of you to explain yourself now geo, i thought you'd just thrown a wobbly (presumed it was 'that time of the month' or whatever ). i understand now, i obviously missed that previous thread, be good to see the feature, i'll make sure i get a free copy from their publishers when it makes it in the mag ;)
