  1. its a GT, it doesn't require an SVA, only an MOT, so no parts will need to be removed unless they cause it to fail the MOT. out of interest, who's importing it? i know the majority of importers in the country so should be able to tell you whether they're dodgy or not.
  2. ive heard 5Zigen Fireballs are a good price, and easily available, aswell as looking and sounding good. it might not be fireball, but its fire something, do a search on tgtt.
  3. any qualified and decent alarm fitter wont need that info, but good luck anyway
  4. um, no they will fit a glanza no problem, my friend has an autofixed one (who shelly has talked to) as does GeeUK from tgtt, who both have glanza's. Not sure if WEPR offer two versions for the different vehicles though, but a simple check of their price list will show that.
  5. wiring diagram of what specifically? and out of interest, why do you need all of this?
  6. WEPR's are alright, but to be honest the quality leaves something to be desired from what i heard, talk to shane (mint_turbo) about his for his GT28R, doesnt line up for shit! Then you got autofixed ones, daves flows well but it dont sit straight, in fact it bends quite a bit to the left, doesn't sit flush with the bulge in the bumper, and its steadily getting more and more out of place. I'd prob say go for one of the top job blitz/hks jobbies, as they're the ones to go for really, i've heard the 5Zigen ones are good too, and quite a good price. If you can find a Tanabe SuperMedalionRacing sys
  7. what the hell is going on with that fmic? O_O
  8. well ofcourse you'd lose back pressure, because you're taking away a big restriction (the cat). although many people see considerable benefits with removing the cat, the loss of backpressure isnt a bad thing.
  9. are you joking? that just sounded like someone was trying to be annoying, gave me a headache. fair enough if you're off your face in a club, but in the car, jesus, thats just annoying. ;x
  10. yes, it is, we have regular roasts, so if you're interested i'm sure there will be one organised local to you soon enough.
  11. you'll be surprised how many japs attach gauges to the steering column, in fact it happens very often, and i would've done this too but just preferred it where i managed to mount it, it really couldnt be in a better position.
  12. i had my gauges down below the cd player but FUCK ME they're practically useless, not so much the voltmeter etc i had but the boost gauge was impossible to see when you're trying to actually know what you're boosting at. it might seem like a small distance but when you're booting it and want to see what you're boosting at it seems like its alot fucking farther away and you end up searching around for it, trying to see what the boost is (and as you're only gonna get a 52mm gauge in there, it makes it even more difficult). i'll attach a pic of where mine is located. when i have my retrim etc i m
  13. just fitted mine with the new spigots, didnt cost me a penny (as i said, came from my cousins place) but by god i was shocked at the wheel bore, they were fucking 73!!! so that was 73 down to 54.1, the rings were bloody fat bastards!!! least they're on now
  14. yes, when its ON, with it turned off its like any other engine, without any additional load on it (you replace the a/c belt with a smaller one, doesn't give it any more power). it becomes lighter without it, yes, but will not make it any more powerful, just lighter (and hence quicker).
  15. should do yes. got a link? might be a custom jobby.
  16. yeah it probably is, i've heard TOC is pretty much a yaris owners club nowadays, ive only been there once or twice personally, although alot use it merely for the discounts from what i remember. Ye i wasnt meaning anything personal, and i understand why you got offensive but i was just stating an observation. really there aint much you can do about it if i was right, and providing you have no troubles with it neither should you care, because thats all it was, an observation. my apoligies if you took it wrong. this isn't my thread so i wont clog it up with my photo's but feel free to ask me v
  17. you like that, i can tell
  18. i like to listen to the sounds of bones cracking under my wheels, or if im in the mood i'll put on my favourite cd, recorded sounds of baby seals being clubbed to death.
  19. feel free, but i suggest you go back and read again, i wasn't picking holes, in fact i never said anything specifically i didnt like, just a general observation. there's know way you'll know how it was treated, but on initial pictures, it probably did have a hard life, you cannot change that fact. Its certainly got a few trick bits on it, and congrats for finding one with a jam, they are indeed quite rare. I'm sure you love it and its a nice little motor, but you should learn to accept a little constructive critisism, if you didnt want comments you wouldn't have posted pics on a public forum.
  20. hardly, after seeing/working with/converting/testing as many imports as i have you sort've learn to notice little things like that, and more often than that ones that have been plastered in stickers, had a singular performance driver's seat in and a few other bits and bobs tend to have been ragged senseless, as they dont just do those things over there for fun, it usually serves a purpose. Fair enough you could say that they've all been ragged to death, which is probably true, but there are little things which one can use as more genuine tell tale signs. also, it takes about 30seconds to wind
  21. babe? bahahaha, sorry but thats................. ah fuck it, hasbashahahahahahahaha... aaanyway, yes there's another grommet which allows the hose to come in just above the pedals (which is a more convenient location), the rubber bung is just behind the stock top mount, more on the driver's side, and has a small little rubber bit poking out of it to distinguish between other bungs. make a slit in that and you're done, just gotta find the bugger on the other side.
  22. looks like its had a hard live, but i wish the best of luck to you.
  23. not sure mate, i didnt know the internal bore of my wheels as i didnt know where i was measuring from so i gave him the wheel for him to measure up, and he ordered them in accordingly. anywhere can order them for you mate i guess, any local garage that stocks alloy wheels, might even have some in stock matey.
