like you'd complain
-
well, if its none of their business, then there's no reason to have it in a signature/avatar or whatever on a public forum, thats another way to look at it... but yeah, felch?
-
the stock actuator is very sloppy, and shit at holding high boost for very long, and as such you'll experience boost spike/creep unless you swap it for an uprated item.
-
look fine to me, totally slag ;) anything else but black would ruin the JDM factor of them, they're either black racing, watanabe or enkei, but ye, they're hot. if you ruin them, i'll hunt you down and felch you, several times... let just hope you kept em jdm eh ;) also, they're not too firm? mine are fucking stiff as fuck, but thats prob due to the springs, they're a good 20-30mm lower than yours, fucking rock solid. i love it.
-
have a check on tgtt, search, one of the traders might sell a kit etc.
-
yeah should be good, its getting one over on the chavs who cut their springs as you said, just weld a dirty girt steel gurder in there, do it properly ;d on another note, those tanabe shocks rule (as i have them), but they're visciously stiff. what jdm rims are you having refurbed? i need to see them ;)

Slowly slowly building up my starlet again

what mani is that? looks sexual. -
i'll felch them all for you if you want.
-
read up, i actually apoligised, but for that sarcasm i'll retract the apoligy mwahaha, i love the way things get misunderstood in text format, its awesome. by the way, cut springs rule, in fact, i've thought of a better idea, i'm going to just weld a metal bar from the axle to the top mount, who needs shocks and springs eh! shock absorbtion is for pussies! ;) ;)
-
1.2bar without fuelling mods? well, if you havent already broke something, then you aint far off mate, the stock turbo turns into a hairdryer at a little over 1bar, plus with no fuelling you must be running dangerously lean like that...
-
As always, you know me... ;) didnt mean it to sound sarcy, was more of a jesting joke than having a go at him, apoligies if it came out that way ;)
-
who said anything about coilovers? you can see the pic of the suspension cant you? you must not know what coilovers actually look like ;) they're fixed height shocks.
-
im sure it'll make a different at higher boost levels, we'll see when i get my blitz decat on eh ;)
-
yep courier would be your best bet, prob do it for under 20 quid, lots of em about. parcel2go etc etc
-
what if you just chew on the insides of the cat? should that be alright?
-
ah ye not a huge fan on those bov's, they're bloody messy, bit ugly looking and OTT looking, plus leaves the stock bov there etc, but as its hks it certainly is purposeful. ;)
-
prob best wrapping it in as much bubble wrap as you can, then get a suitable sized box, pack it VERY well, with those polystyrene shells/more bubblewrap etc, newspaper and whatever you can find, then seal it up, but make sure the box is sturdy enough etc. you'll prob need to get lots of smaller boxes and construct your own box, but make sure its sturdy etc.
-
haha same suspension as me! little higher due to the different springs but funny nonetheless! what springs are they? tanabe springs? how did you find fitting everything? where did you source em to mate? rare to see a 98/99 model in the mainland, interesting to see a few subtle differences under the bonnet too ;)
-
what turbo and mani is that? very random orientation!
-
jesus christ, complete carbon OVERKILL!!! :/ a little goes a LONG way..... ;) too much, well, you get a result like that... looks a good job though, is it just that film stuff? i imagine the 'leccy window buttons were difficult to do, very tight angles etc, mine are completely wrong colour so i need something to change them and/or make them different :/
-
discontinued accessory mate, can't buy em unfortunately, not new anyway. ;)
-
um, yes you will mate. the studs/nuts alone weren't designed to take the weight of the car, thats the hub's job, if the cbore of the wheel is FAR larger than that of the hub, then its not doing anything, plus there are more risks of it not being perfectly centred to the hub, thus causing unwanted vibrations etc, which can again risk the studs/nuts. if you're using mx5 wheels without spigots, then it can be rather dangerous, due to the cbore being alot larger than that of a starlet's. fancy shearing off a stud/nut mid corner? no, didnt think so certainly worth the 10 quid they cost any day of
-
those are different wheels shel, look closely although, they were originally off an mx5 yes, mazda dealers sold them off on ebay rather cheap, hence why they're now doing the rounds, and almost every bloody starlet/crx etc has them. you WILL need spigots rings though, mx5 cbore's are alot larger than a starlet's, so you'll need some to take the load/strain off the wheel nuts and centre things up

behave, its fantastic.
