  1. that'd prob be out of the question, i expect the bias is very much to the front (prob like 70/30) so removing that would prob mess things up, unless you custom made driveshafts/propshaft etc.
  2. its been proven, yes, but in a SportSelection EP85, which has an uprated drivetrain as standard from the factory, but are obviously alot rarer/more expensive. the standard ep85/ep95 drivetrain might not be up to the job unfortunately.
  3. 'new'? i was driving/converting/sva testing these about 2 years ago, and even then they'd been around FAR longer..... its a fancy luxurious 350z. same chassis, same engine, same car inside really, except they actually have rear seats, while the 350z's dont. same thing really.
  4. the filter is fun, especially if it isnt an OEM toyota filter, and if it hasnt been off in a while.. my mate with the proper tool took 2 hours to get the cunt off, hammering a screwdriver through it wouldnt even work, with the air con still in its an absolute NIGHTMARE of a job. good luck to you!! ;) i used valvoline durabled 10w-40 oil, its what my mate uses in all his cars as well as his stockrod race cars and drag cars, so thats good enough for me!
  5. k&n are prob the best for panel filters, they've been doing it for years and even though the chavs have given em a bad name, they still know their filters!
  6. far too euro, it might be a uk model starlet but it still needs to remain jdm. jdm = law.

    subframes

there arent standard subframes. there are runners that are attached to the seat, they're PART of the seat, i.e you've gotta angle grind the cunts off, and even then you're still left with thin jagged metal which you've somehow gotta cross brace and form back into their original shape (because they'll no longer be in the original position, just flopping about). If you're very handy with a welder, then you'll be fine, if not, then its a pain in the ass.
  8. jsut to let you know mate, jasma is just a certification stamp, just means it conforms to jap noise/emissions regs, i.e its quite restrictive (same stamp as mine), but this also helps prevent dreaded boost creep as it provides some much needed back pressure wheels look much better on the car mate. interesting choice of tyre size. personally im a fan of 195/50R15's but on my 14's i'll be using 185/60R14 so that the rolling radius is the same. any smaller and i think i'd have rubbing issues on speed bumps etc, with the 60 profile on the 14's it sits perfect and hasn't rubbed on any speed hump u
  9. well you know what they say.... anything that isn't nailed down, is mine. anything i can pry loose isn't nailed down.
  10. you want calipers also? well, what are you after? levin calipers are supposed to fit with slight modification. There's a set of 4-pot outlaw's on the jap auctions. i believe endless do a set also
  11. maybe, but i've only ever been pulled over once. ever. and that was only because they were after another black glanza that they knew was regularly driven like an absolute twat round here, giving the rest of em a bad name. thats in over 3 years of driving by the way, only once, ever. im sure if you give them reasons (possibly erratic driving, unsafe driving, driving like a bellend etc) then if they're in a bad mood, you're gonna pay for it unfortunately.
  12. i've seen a few about mate, took that one on yours off actually to see what it was, looked a bit odd on a black glanza so swapped it back (plus its a bit too 'angular' if you know what i mean, doesn't suit the glanza's smooth rounded curves, but its certainly different!). glad you got the wheels sorted mate, looks far better than it did on the white wheels (as i saw first hand at ujcc meet). i'm a huge jdm fan as you know so its certainly nice to see. where did you source em if you dont mind me asking? i've a set of 14" 4-spoke split-rim SSR MKII-R wheels here which i've picked up for whats b
  13. you know these arent even remotely accurate mate? they're actually completely wrong, reports completely incorrect values. ...unless you were to use a wideband
  14. sr's look unique and different to your average glanza. leave it as it is mate, get tasteful stuff etc, then when you're able to afford to buy/insure/run a glanza properly then you can just swap the bits over (suspension etc), which will save you a hell of a lot of money, and will enable you to get plenty of driving experience beforehand
  15. wont matter mate, money talks. future are prob going under, they've sold off 3 or 4 mags from what i've been told, but they're struggling all round so if it dont get sold off it'll just go down with the ship so to speak. not enough people are buying mags nowadays. i havent bought one for years admittedly, can find anything you want online!
  16. they dont ban for no reason, so it would've been perfectly fair if it was bad enough to warrant a ban (dont know the circumstances, but its just simple logic really). good luck with the retest though mate.
  17. i'm pretty sure the wastegate being the weak link of the ct9 wont allow you to run 20psi, thats why loads of people suffer from boost creep etc. would be severely unstable etc, hence why people are having so much trouble with the wepr hybrids. for the price of that hybrid, you could get a full td04 setup!
  18. hm ye preferred em before, although they arent far off what they were before to be honest. nice and subtle mate, look too much like standard mk1 mx5 wheels for my liking but still tidy mate.
  19. ye i could always have more fun in the gt-t/gts skylines etc enzo, their limit is alot lower than the gtr (meaning they're more controllable and predictable, far easier to drift and generally get tail happy with) and as such are alot more fun. they're still very quick also, can be made just as quick as a gtr but then that sort of defies the point of em. a 250bhp gts is more than ample for its purpose, and they're still bloody comfy. by the way, the gt-t is the '34 and the gts is the '33, although there are varying models within each also (gt-4 = 4wd 2.5 non-turbo etc).
  20. blitz access mate, its tuned for a blitz k1-200v with 2jz injectors and fuel pump so with very slight tweaking i dont see why it couldnt fuel for a t3/td04 etc (would prob only need a fuel reg, maybe some sort of afc at most). certainly got far more grunt on the ct9, without the hassle of fcd's etc.
  21. oh ye for sure, but you can pick em up dirt cheap. if you can find em in 4x100 fitment, they're worth ALOT more, but in skyline/200sx fitment etc they're not worth quite as much because they're more common. i wouldnt say no though!
  22. just means it was originally destined for a 323, not an mx5
  23. not worth that much, seen sets go for like 2-300 quid, but yeah, advan 3-spokes are awesome.
  24. i was surprised, went in a car with gab coilovers on weekend joz and they were so comfy, i mean, standard suspension comfy, absorbed pot holes lovely. but, it was a demon through the corners, still stayed so flat and stable, basically i never realised coilovers could be like that! tanabe's are far harsher in any form i think, so it all depends really. i was surprised coilovers could be so relaxing though. on the rev topic, i've never hit the rev limiter in mine, there's no need to. you'll find power trails off at above around 5k anyway, there's no need to take it any higher (think the rev limi
