depends on the firmness of the shocks/springs, but if they're reasonable firm then you'll wanna go as slow as you can, otherwise it feels like you're bending alloys/or other parts of the car ;) reason i suggested the ventura mate is because mine is on P.I's, and they aint the best of springs if i'm honest (but i do have Tanabe Sustec Shocks with em).

ventura are no better/worse than P.I, plus they lower more AFAIK. mikey - thats fine and dandy in a stock car, but try doing it in something reasonably firm/lowered and it'll knock your spine out the top of your skull ;)

if you're having a K24 kit simon you might wanna look into something custom, JDM exhausts for the starlet will have restrictions to provide back pressure due to the ct9 having a crap wastegate. if you're running a k24, you can have an open pipe of custom ube'ness ;)

you shoulda said you were going to see rick, he's a very good friend of mine ;) ye most people probably wont recognise the fmic as its a very old blitz design, so is alot different to the newer 'LM' model ones. i think they're a similar thickness but obviously the length/height is different. came in with his td06 kit so has big power handling, although may be slightly laggy for stock turbo setups, but should be fine if piping lengths are kept reasonable. how did you get on with mounting it, or did rick include the original fixing plates for it? (cant remember if they came with it) What you doing bout pipework? gonna order a fmic kit from the likes of wepr or gonna build one up from ali pipes/hoses?

bump stops are what you'll hit if you going over a massive bump and compress the shock/spring to its max ;) if you do that alot, with lowered springs, the stock shocks wont last long

should be something simple, try greasing it up firstly, then play with the mechanisms, you have to be a clever cunt to work them when it aint bolted in but it is possible, just keep at it. failing that, burn the cunts, and the car, and someone you see walking down the street.
