  1. haha, agree there, not a huge fan of white mesh, but, ANYTHING will do, black or white or bloody polkadot, anything to stop that fmic getting ruined from stones and pidgeons etc get it hosed up now. i found some ali pipework kits if you wanna catch me on msn.
  2. component speakers, separate mids and tweeters with an external passive crossover.
  3. i'd be embarassed to say i own some personally
  4. mass produced 6x9's are a pile of shite, in their entirety, much better building in a nice set of quality component speakers, with a decent little external amplifier powering them.
  5. new discs and pads, or the fluids is shot, or, the calipers themselves need a rebuild.
  6. unless the glovebox is out.
  7. the one i used for my boost gauge hosing was just behind the inlet manifold.
  8. ...you havent heard much else have you nah but seriously, all that matters is that you're happy with em, least it wont get broken into/nicked!
  9. shouldnt have much of a difference which way round the wires are, as either phase will work adequately, its most likely the fact something in there is rattling (starlet interiors arent designed for big audio installations), so something in there is probably just rattling away. either that, or the speakers themselves are supposed to be amplified externally, the 15wrms from your head unit isn't enough to power less sensitive speakers than the stock items (aftermarket ones might be more powerful, but they're FAR less sensitive, meaning it takes more power to physically get them moving and to soun
  10. its designed to fit on a glanza bumper, which is different, so without modification, it wont fit no.
  11. toysport = glanza.co.uk's parts business the rear splitters are replicas of the original but come in two pieces - you gotta get em bonded together, then fitted (but fine if you know someone in the business).
  12. Seen many sets sell, some for much less than that, but you have to remember im a total wheel whore, so i know exactly where to look Also, it doesn't matter if they're 12years old, the term 'classic' is one which defines rare, stylish, sought after old school wheels, such as ye olde wire mesh SSR's found on the likes of ae86's and simons KP or similar Also, if you wanna get pedantic over ONE letter, then i'll correct you in that my username is ecksjay
  13. im on about normal civic vti's, thats where the wheels came from as wylo said himself. also idree, i see these for sale on a regular basis, you're just a little easily excitable i think!!! ;) and spending that amount of money on a del slow is rediculous, because they're poo, wylo's crx is where the crx passion is strongest.
  14. classic? classic would be like, 20years old, you can get these on like 7yr old VTi's ;)
  15. that the ones that come in two halves?? :/
  16. well 4k would be a cheap glanza, so you get what you pay for really at the end of the day. if the seller is honest then you should think about spending more on one in the first place, its as reliable as a small capacity turbocharged car can be, i've had no problems with mine (touch wood) so would ask more than that for it if i was to sell, but you've gotta take car of em really.
  17. that thing looks so familiar.... ...think it was sold from around weston originally. nah wouldnt touch it with that many issues mate, might be sorted but you never know really.
  18. well? did he? its my lifelong ambition.
  19. good luck if you can find the original rear lip ;O
