They were offered as a dealer option originally so very rare items. The unit plums into the heating unit so disperses a fragrance through your vents. 3 cartridges of different scents sit in the unit giving out 3 different scents. Comes with an automatic and manual setting. Pictures: Air purifier (parcel shelf) Designed for: EP82/EP91 Will Fit: EP82/EP91 Rarity: 7/10 Position in car: Mounts into the parcel shelf behind the rear passenger seat Brief description: The unit itself fits into a hole in the parcel. Designed to keep the car fresh from bad smells and cigarette smoke by taking in the air passing it through a filter found inside and releasing it again. The main armrest, a plastic mounting bracket it attached to and a metal bracket that bolts it down. The metal bracket mounts to a bolt hole that holds part of the handbrake down. Mounts to the roof and replaces the standard interior light unit. Comes with the unit itself and a metal mounting bracket. Then the box I self simply slides onto the bracket. These are used as bins in Japan and every time you go to a petrol station the attendant there will offer to empty it for you apparently. The rear clean box sits on the passenger side at the very rear or the car. It's moulded very well to slot into the corner of the boot. These are items that are very rare please note also that the EP91 and EP82 will only fit properly on the models they were designed for as the shapes of the boots are slightly different Pictures: Climate control Designed for: EP82/EP91 Will Fit:EP82/EP91 Rarity: 7/10 Position in car: Heating System Brief description: Rather than you adjusting the cool/hot control and the fan speed, you select a preferred temperature then an ECU adjusts the heater and fan speed and can also turn the air conditioning on to set the interior temperature to what you have set it too. Pictures: Cupholder (front) Designed for: EP82 Will Fit: EP82/EP91 Rarity: 8/10 Position in car: Centre console din slot Brief description: Designed for the GT's these will fit the Glanzas but as Glanzas have built in front cupholders just below where these go there's not much point. The front cupholder unit consists of two things. Push the top and out slides 2 cupholders. The bottom section is a velvet lined drawer which can be used for storage of certain things. Both sections slide out at an angle towards the passenger which is very convenient especially for taller people who would bang their knee if it came out straight. Pictures: Cupholder (rear) Designed for: EP91 Will Fit: EP91/EP82 Rarity: 9/10 Position in car: Rear of handbrake trim Brief description: Fits via a bracket to the rear of the handbrake trim where the rear ashtray is. The cupholder conveniently folds away when not being used. Push the top of it and it smartly unfolds presenting 2 cupholder slots and a base to rest them on. Pictures: Door cards with optional speaker pods Designed for: EP82 Will Fit: EP82 Rarity: 5/10 Position in car: Replace standard door cards Brief description: As the starlets standard speakers are located in the dash board these door cards provided an extra location for some better audio quality. They replaced the standard door cards and had a built in meshed dome where a small speaker could be mounted giving upgrading the owner to 4 front speakers rather than 2. Pictures: First aid kit Designed for: EP91 Will Fit: EP82/EP91 Rarity: 10/10 (if full and original) Position in car: Possibly boot or glove box Brief description: Due to the age of these it's incredibly hard to find an original one with all contents untouched and in the original packaging. Pictures: Footwell spotlight Designed for: EP82/EP91 Will Fit: EP82/EP91 Rarity: 7/10 Position in car: Driver and passenger footwell Brief description: Normally come as a pair with the optional ignition barrel these go in the driver and passenger footwells just behind the dashboard and come on when the doors are opened and stay on for a few seconds after the door is closed, then they fade out before turning off. Will light up when the doors open, will stay on for a few seconds then slowly fade out before turning off. Purely designed so you can see roughly where to put the key to start the car in the dark. Pictures: No smoking ashtray insert Designed for: EP82/EP91 Will Fit: EP82/EP91 Rarity: EP91 7/10 EP82 9/10 Position in car: Replaces standard ashtray Brief description: Designed as an extra little storage compartment for those who don't smoke this standard ashtray replacement is velvet lined and probably used to hold things like coins or other small things. Please note the GT ones are a different design to the Glanzas and although they will fit in the 2 different models they won't fit 100% successfully. For example a Glanza ashtray fitted to a GT will fit, however won't pull all the way out like it's supposed to as it's a slightly different fitting so be prepared. I'm desperately trying to find or at least learn more about what it does in detail from someone but had no success. I'm guessing being produced in the early 90's it's nothing amazing nowadays technology wise but as the title says it is an electronic compass. Hopefully one day I'll find one and be able to give you all a more detailed description of what it does. Like all the other centre console boxes its velvet lined. All velvet lined designed to hold bank cards and coins. Both are the same size and velvet lined. However what makes this a 'Secret' box is the right hand side drawer is only accessible by entering a 3 digit code on a safe style locking system. Perfect for storing valuables safely like jewellery and money. Pictures: Parcel shelf storage box Designed for: EP91 Will Fit: EP91 Rarity: 9/10 Position in car: Attaches to the underside of parcel shelf Brief description: A very large carpet covered storage box that attaches to the underside of the parcel shelf. These are very rare things and not many around at all so if you ever see one snap it up quick. Pictures: Passenger footrest Designed for: EP91 Will Fit: EP82/EP91 Rarity: 10/10 Position in car: Passenger footwell Brief description: Extremely rare item this not many around at all. Simply sits in the passenger footwell. The carpeted middle section detaches to make cleaning it easier. Pictures: Passenger underseat compartment Designed for: EP82/EP91 Will Fit: EP82/EP91 Rarity: 6/10 Position in car: Under passenger seat Brief description: Two brackets screw into the underside of the seat and allow the drawer to freely slide forwards and backwards. Surprisingly in this case the GT ones are more common than the Glanza ones. Not seen very often pretty rare items. Either way these are pretty hard things to find. Pictures: Rescueman Glass breaker and scissors Designed for: EP91 Will Fit: EP82/EP91 Rarity: 10/10 Position in car: Anywhere Brief description: Although there's a few versions of this the ones that were advertised in the brochure were the MK1 rescueman which are a separate glass breaker hammer and seat belt cutters. These are safety tools which are there incase of a bad crash. The idea is you can use the scissors to cut the seatbelt off you then the hammer to break a window and crawl out and get to safety. They were offered as Toyota logos and also Starlet logos. Pictures: Shopping bag seat hook Designed for: EP91 Will Fit: EP91 Rarity: 10/10 Position in car: Clips to passenger headrest Brief description: A simple extra basically a hook that clips to the passenger headrest allowing the owner to hand carrier bags and maybe coat hangers to the back of the seat. Never seen one on a starlet myself. Please note these will not fit a GT as there seats are bucket seats so don't have a seperate headrest to clip to. A tray that slots onto the top of the dashboard and contains 2 cupholders, a flip open mirror, a pen holder and space for coins.
