main things to check on is when driving check its boosting properly and holding the boost. then you know the turbos ok. also check theres no smoking when its cold that will tell you things like the stem seals are fine piston rings etc. check its not smoking on boost. again shows a healthy turbo Full lock it both ways and do a circle. listen out for knocking which will tell you driveshafts are naff check the engine bay for signs of leaks/cracked pipes etc and also check the oil for signs of water ( broken headgasket) then just have a general check round your engineer should look out for all these anyway good luck dude
