yep im glad i stuck with it aswell and replacing the engine i learned a hell of a lot as well i basically know every bolt and every size of the bolts in the engine bay haha but yeh that intercooler was a bargain. £500 plus to buy new and i got it for £180 so cant complain about having to pick it up haha

oh i cant wait mate. they take the piss so much cause of the 112mph limiter. will feel so good to cream them.keep up with them now with 9 psi boost imagine how quick i can kane them at 15psi lol n yep its cost me thousands to sort out but its better to know that nearly everything thats on it now is new and I've done myself. got pleanty more plans for it now. il keep everyone posted

Well I've been on here nearly a year now so thinking its time to finially start a build thread This could be quite long as I've had a lot done since i bought it so bear with me guys. Well i bought the car early last october. Go it from a guy in bradford who wanted £2000 for it. When i got there had a good look round and it dint look too bad. no major leaks, bodywork wasn't brilliant but wasn't too bad. Had a quick drive and was knocking from the driveshafts, both of them. The only mods were a gash universal jap can and some illegal private plates which gladly he insisted on keeping

oh yeah forgot to mention the lighter thing it weight about 15 kg i think maybe more i stripped the back out of mine at the same time as removing the air con so i noticed one hell of a weight difference lol

good cause i like the low turbo option when im trying to save fuel lmao

rip the bloody thing out. its crap, it makes changing the oil filter a right bitch and also gets in the way if you need to relocate the air filter to behind the front bumper in my opinion get rid i have lol

as sparky said above it sounds like its piped up wrong who fitted it?

my old 4efte engine used to hit fuel cut all the time and all i had was filter and dumpvalve then after replacing the engine with a newer younger one i put a full system on it including decat, FMIC etc loads of mods and I've never had fuel cut since so yes everycar is different but id get a boost gauge to check the boost levels have you got a standard actuator or adjustable? if adjustable check the previous owner hasnt turned the boost up past fuel cut restrictions as well

I've just replaced my track rod ends got them from tm.developments the best way to know your track rod end has gone is it will be eating away the tread on your tire

yer its something different but the airflow is pretty much the same behind the bumper but try it mate the only thing il say is its going to get covered in flies and crap in the summer and piss wet through in the winter lol that could cause problems lol

yeh mate I've got an ep82 there solid very rare you get problems with them if you buy a good one
