ive had a real shitty day today. ever since this morning i seem to be gettin a loud grumbling noise from the engine/drivetrain when pulling away in 1st... it only lasts a second, then goes away?? and i went into my local tyre and accessory place (r-tec) and as i was pulling up to park, i was turning a little close to a new mini parked beside me, but after having the car for so long, i knew where the front of the car was, so i just carried on... CRUNCH! my sodding numberplate had clipped the bumper on the mini and gauged a bit outa the plastic, shattered the numberplate too. ended up paying 50 quid in repairs today. did some considerable damage to the bumper too... and now my door is making some annoying cruching noise when i open it. :angry: not a good day Rich.

well, if you wanted to make yourself a 4-5efhe, you could do it, it'd be a bit of a hybrid.. i have no idea how driveable the engine would be... or if it would even make a difference! your best bet in doing this would be, get a 5efhe head (this will have the uprated cams you need), get it skimmed to give the higher compression,get yourself a 4efte inlet mani, and throttle body if you could find a way to rewire it, but i'd just stick with the 4e one,then get a 5efhe exhaust mani and downpipe an ther you have it! some kind of 4efe/he hybrid! ive had the fhe exhaust mani on my 4e and it lost too much back pressure, so probably not a good idea if your not pushing up the power. not really worth the agro in my opinion. o well... the cunning plan failed!! i had my eyes set on a set of these bad boys... they were in 16" black with basically brand new khumo rubber for £300 went a picked them up tonight, and tried one on and because they were off a corsa the inserts for the nuts were too small!!!! which is weird, bcoz my ones i have now were off a corsa too!!! i pleaded with him and got my money back thank god. what a poke up the shitter. :angry: Rich.
