New Year Interior Update. firstly its been a while since an update as ive been real busy, and work has been hectic with redundancies etc, but the main reason was because there was nothing to update! trd shifter i got from oli (the old owner of my old car) right. ive wanted a set of the indilo plasma dials before they were even available, but could never justify them at the price they are... so the 'rents got me them for xmas! was out there fitting them xmas day! box mounted old faces new fitted ive also had a double pillar pod hanging around for ages so another xmas prezzy was a pair of swoosh gauges for it... one is boost in psi, and the other is a narrowband a/f until i get a wideband fitted last but not least is something ive been working on for years, literally. any old mmbers of the forum will remember this idea stemmed from my n/a... a stealthbox. mould made from old n/a boot. a perfect fit. some added support... speaker housing plate mounting. sealed terminals wrapped in fleece ready for the resin coat to create a hard shell. result.. fibreglass re-enforcement, and to make it fully sealed.. all rough edges taken off ready for carpet... now im not a bass junkie, so i decided to got for a 350w max 8incher, nice punchy bass and ported for some lower bassnotes... the centre was scratched so a bit of paint and a few decals later... and the amp... carpeted, ported and 'badged' lol speaker installed... perfect fit... just got 20 odd hours of running in now before i can see how it performs :harhar: Rich.

Sounds a bit like "ye ol' trac'er" off boost... Then just roars on boost. Ask rob, It defo sounds different to other starlets...

mines a apexi backbox mated to a custom 2 1/4" straight thru system no boxes other than the backbox, and no cat. sounds better when giving it a bootfull.

i fucking hate it... it happens all the time to me. i should just paint the fucker in red oxide and stick some steelies on it an maybe they'll leave me the fuck alone. i just let them get on with it... ive got nothing to prove to a 1.1 saxo. they always rag past me thinking theyre winning some kind of race lol

family guy is amazing from seies 1 onwards. im only missing series 2 from my collection... but ive seen them all anyway. american dad is pretty good too, got all three season of that too.

i think it all boils down to money. as previously stated, i think it seems a bit pointless someone spending big money on a car and then getting 'copy' wheels... they do look nice, and have that jdm look, but i too am skeptical on how well theyre made... if its a road car that you're using for a bit of fun then great, but if you intend on going on a few trackdays then i'd personally go for genuine's.
