wee update, ive adapted a old satnav mount into a camera mount for in the car, it just suctions to the passenger window. heres my first vid (just a test run for angle and shake) only annoying thing is that photobucket has compromised the quality

ah, i know starletsy... theres a few simons on here tho.
-
fto seats skinned me 40 quid.
-
thats a point, how much did they set him back?
-
you're overlooking the handling on this tho... a standard t-sport yaris would own a standard sr round the twisties.
-
get fto ones, that what i got in mine and they were pretty easy to make adaptors to fit too. cheap as chips too. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mitsubishi-FTO-Car-S...id=p3286.c0.m14

yeah sparks, that rage one is just as good, thats what i had on my old starly... works a treat.
-
cheers guys, i saw them on ebay a few weeks back but there gone now. burwash still has them tho! ;)
-
anyone got any idea if anywhere still makes these and how much?
-
how much did it set you back to get it mapped?
-
yeah, thats what i thought... i just dont know whether to get the fcd and reg put on for the meantime so i can run 0.8bar safely. any ideas on what pressure you need a reg set at for up to 1bar?
-
omfg that red 98 spec is the most perfect glanza ive ever seen.
-
yeah, thats the reaction i keep getting with the paint i used, two wheels came out fine, two reacted with the lower layers of paint, when i get a chance i might try wet and drying them back a bit. it really fucked me off as i spent ages getting all the marks out of them, but then i ran out of time as i had a puncture on the black racings, so i had to slap a quick coat of laquer on them before fitting them.
-
this man speaks the truth.
-
you can use hammerite spray, which can give a nice shiny finish... i did mine with just normal car paint and a nice coat of laquer and its still going strong.
-
took a few pics tonight, wasnt really in the mood plus the car was a bit dirty lol Rich.
-
indeed... i felt pretty gutted actually, but all is well now! lol

yeah, i have a fcd and a reg waiting to go on it as the bastard keeps hesitating at just past 0.8bar, and the actuator is set to 0.7-0.75bar so its creeping a bit in the cold weather, im not too fussed about running 1 bar, 0.9 would be nice, but i dont want to have to go and get the reg setup and the fcd wired in etc... so im playing with the idea of saving some pennies up after xmas and getting a ecu... but i need a fmic first.
-
what are the benefits of one over the other of these two? plus i know that they remove fuel cut, and raise the rev limiter, but do you still need some form of fuel reg to fuel it past fuel cut? which are more readily available? ive seen a few jam floating about, but i only like remember hearing of two blitz... any extra on these would be great.

thanks buddy... i couldnt think of any other colour that would look any good for winter other than gunmetal grey... but ive done that before. lol cheers buddy, ive already got 2-3 people wanting me to do theirs, so ive already got a backlog! cheers mate thanks bud, i had considered doing them without the lip, but i decided to see what it looks like this time, then i might see for next year.. thanks mate, you got your rays sorted yet? indeed i did phil! i feel privileged that you choose to use it for this! Rich.

Enkei wheel refurb update ok guys the enkei's have been taking shape over the last few months, and they're finally on... i only have phone pics at the mo, i'll get proper ones later today if i can. the new colour's: and fitted: the paint on the black racings had a really bad reaction to something so they're gonna be completely stripped down over the next 6-8 months, but im not sure if they'll be coming back green or not, it depends on future plans. apologies for lack of updates lately, im currently paying back a few debts so im taking a proper scrimp to do it.
