i had a c5 on my old n/a and its basically a lower model of the ai606, something like a cat 2-3 but you can upgrade it to full cat 1 whereas the ai606 is only cat 1. was still a good system none the less.

toad ai606. i have about 3 people who ive recommended them to and they all have no complaints!

no frickin way. my dad used to buy alot of his old bikes off your ol' man. i used to go up with him quite often. im like over the other side of luton... well, a bit further out now, but i used to live in barton le clay. could have sworn i saw it about a week ago? it was inside the shop tho. (i was driving past)

i would recommend that too. my v seemed like a completely different car when i changed the actuator as mine must have been fucked.
-
lol i saw that a dbm (dave biss motorcycles)... it looked a bit mental. are you local to that area jules?
-
lol its done up even tighter than that now! it even chatters with my stock panel filter in it now! i just hate the way the thing drives with an exposed filter!
-
firstly tho, i would replace that piping to the actuator, i had the same thing on my glanza and when i replaced it it was fine.

cheers buddy. yeah, its about a thousand times better than it was... which is good because if it hadn't been sorted i might have been forced to move on to something else. but no worries of that now, because i frickin' love it! lol, i tried to get one on my phone earlier bud, but you couldnt hear it very well, so i'll try an get one on my camera over the weekend.

just tightened it up a bit tonight and now it chatters and dumps! sounds great. im just so worried of damaging the iddy ct9!

nice one looking forward to seeing some pics of this finished... when are you gonna get it dyno'd? so then we know just how much 'silly' power this puts out?
-
likewise, i'd love on but i got a holiday coming up and can no way justify that kinda money. i might be interested later this year.

its on the road! its got mot an tax now, so shes back on the road. its had new tires and some welding done (needs tidying up) but it now has developed a hole in the cat - it sounds awesome some pics he seems well happy with it... theres a grumbling noise coming from the clutch at the mo so hes a bit worried about it atm and it seems to have a loud buzzing noise from the front end when it goes over 80?!? any ideas? Rich.

new bov update fitted the greddy type rs i got off fishy yesterday, so now i have a genuine type rs instead of a copy! also popped my k&n panel filter in today. Rich.

ohh my god!! that is old skool.... as sparky said, check out my old n/a! hubbys and everything! i love the site as it is right now, but i think it was mega special back then when everyone on there had just been kicked off toc and no one knew who we were! on that note, who's left on here from the mk1 site?
-
i should be biased, but, i think theyre slightly better without the lip... black speedies always look awesome tho.

when i first started driving it was 71p a litre around my way. fucking outrageous. i dont mind paying more for fuel, but only if they put my wages up another quid per hour so i can fucking afford it!

i personally dont rate plastic primer. its shit and doenst stick well, ive always used normal grey/whiteprimer on plastics, put a dusting coat on it first and then a thin coat when its dry an then youre ready for the colour/basecoat. if you check my thread ive used normal spray paint on my engine bay bits (cam cover, airbox, dizzy cap etc) and its come out pretty good, if you prepare the surface well and dont take any shortcuts it'll come out good. best to use a real hard wearing laquer too, i use upol clear coat, its quick drying if you put it on lightly, but settles nice and smooth if you gi

jubilee clips probably wont be strong enough to do the job mate. i agree with paul, grind or cut the heatsheild away.
