  1. yeah, thats the type of stance im after mate... i'll have to see, i dont want to ruin a perfectly matched set of springs and shocks... so i might just look into replacing the lot at the end of the year...

  6. well i havent exactly booked it in for next week, as i told si to order the clutch and i'll book it in when he has it, so get pestering him!
  7. its a raised plastic piece that runs aross the base of the back seat, without the plastic bit its useless. and yes its should be fitted the other way round.
  8. well actually.... f you have a detector that has laser/radar detection, when the ban comes in the supplier will send a update that will de-activate your detection unit and it'll be gps based only, hence why i bought a gps only unit! the laser detectors are not very good anyway, very inaccurate, so in them banning the use or the detection side of these they have since regestered each mobile site and this is updated weekly. so it'll cover you for fixed cameras and possible mobile site, which is better than the old system, trust me. they used to go off if someone was ringing a doorbell down the
  9. i voted 3, but its not great quality.
  10. saw them in this months banzai. i think they look ace. if only they came in 14's.
  11. cheers for the input eks. thats been really helpful. i think i'll wait till i get the front splitter fitted and see what the height looks like then... i wouldnt mind fitting some spacers too so the wheels fill the arches a bit better too. can you inquire with chris for me tho rob... you know my price range!
  12. looks like you didnt have to cut yopur front bumer? is that right?
  13. not to piss on your fire mate, but the stickers mean feck all. ive got the same sticker, where all the tire pressures are, and it turns out mine doesnt have lsd. the only way to be sure is to jack up one side and try and spin a front wheel with your hands with it out of gear with the other side on the floor, if it turns no problem, then you're like me and dont have a lsd, if it wont turn, then good for you! you have a lsd!
  14. nah, laser and radar detectors are a dieing breed, the government are passing a ban on laser and radar detection, so theyre all gonna be gps. in regards to picking up signal, it depends what star receiver it has, as most the new gps units come with star 3 which will get signal inside a house! i think this is probably star 1.
  15. new toy installed i bought a inforad gps speed camera locator eariler this week and went about fitting it tonight. pics: as you can see, its quite large, so i wanted to have it somewhere out of the way. so i had a spare dial surround and chopped out a hole big enough for the locator and power feed, hardwired it into the stereo harness and few the wiring thru behind the dash to keep it neat. then i velcro'd it to the underside of the dash (with a spacer to line it up) to make it look neat. havent had a chance to use it yet, but it comes with a years free subscription, so im well happ
  16. yeah, i didnt fancy cutting them. ok bud, i figure that was the case really... any suggestions on different set of springs/front springs? as comfy as i can get them really.
  17. awesome. sounds like just what i need. what are you doing about a bov? where is the bov attachment?
  18. ace mate. whats the fit like? is it as good as was made out? airbox etc?
  19. nice work on the dials dude.... i think i prefer the orange tbh.
  20. im not voting! because i cant decide!!!
  21. as most of you know i have tanbe sustec shocks and springs fitted to my glanza and i just love the way they soak up the bumps but still give pretty good handling and limited roll. but i've noticed that the front end sits quite high compaired to other low glanza's, i have no probs about the general height, its just the front end. so i want to know of any suggestions of bringing the front end down a bit without ruining the ride quality? can you get springs shortened? as i dont really want to go back to rock hard springs.
  22. 185/55/r14. they improved the handling so much compared to the 195/50/r15's i had previously.
  23. i'd say you're going good to get 200miles out of £40 on a 3.0l straight six! my glanza does about 220miles to 30ish quid. it doesnt help that fuel is constantly on the rise.
  24. bit of a shock, i was really into touring cars when i was a kid and met david leslie on many occasions. http://uk.news.yahoo.com/skynews/20080331/...-h-45dbed5.html Rich.
