  1. i found no creep at all, and because i was running higher than stock boost anyway i found it felt like it had much more grunt at the top of the revs.
  2. im personally not liking mate. but i dont like those style sidelights on new audi's anyway.
  3. i always wanted a glanza. hence why i bought one. ive driven a gt and a glanza and i'd say the gt felt much more 'alive' (probably due to the less weight) but i couldnt live with one theyre just a little bit too harsh, whereas the glanza is a bit more comfy and (i think) easier to live with. but i would say, look at the cars side by side and decide what you like best. my 2p
  4. i personally would retract that comment. its not just starlet owners that view these forums. plus if you've done that you can be done for insurance fraud. and as already said, its not really insured.
  5. LOL yeah he was doing his "zombie J" pose
  6. his old gsi replica and my old starly an this is the new one
  7. finally he joins! nah that was my mate jamie, this is james he used to own a green astra geo, yuo will remember him, we made a canopy from my jacket when it pissed it down at jae a few years back!
  8. yeah, i figured thats what it was.. but i wasnt too sure. it was idling a little low with the other plugs.. but now ticks over @ 700ish rpm when warm.
  9. i know people say theyre excited on the net and theyre normally talking bollocks, but i am genuinely massively excited to see this completed!!! i cant wait! i cant imagine how you feel!
  10. scotchbrite ftw. thats what i use on all my painting.
  11. LOL nah, i think we should leave it up... just as a reminder to everyone, that practical jokes are funny!
  12. well im convinced my V is back up and running perfect finally! me and fishy went for a blat the other night, and they both seemed to be pretty even, fishys had the legs at very top end, but other than that very pleased. previously his gt was considerably quicker than my v, so im over the moon that its finally working out for me... it took long enough!!! only thing i noticed yesterday night was i seem to get a big puff of black smoke out the exhaust if i hit the limiter (hit it for the first time yesterday), is this the norm for turbo's? or does it mean something is on its way out? is doesn't
  13. nice v. liking the red v next to it too. by the way, they're not trd splitters/spoilers they are just factory optional extras.
  14. car looks great buddy. i personally would keep the weds (if they are?) but i do like the slipstreams too. it looks like your getting alot of interest in your wheels mate, so i would put up a thread in the for sale section as not to clutter up your thread too much.
  15. defo leave the ducktail. if im honest i would have kept the 98 you had. looked great apart from the wheels. where did you get the 98 from previously if you dont mind me asking?
  16. awesome pics buddy. i think you need to be using a much faster shutterspeed to capture the moment without the blur
  17. thats awesome dude. nice one.
  18. that sounds like the pod alright. stupidly windy! nice result si.
  19. im with you phil, the oem gt4 wheels look goooooooood, even better if they were done darker.
  20. i was about to say exactly the same thing! jeez jim... you get thru a few cars dont you! you watch riko, a years time and he'll be back in a glanza or gt! ;) nice one... ive always had a 'thing' for this shape lude too. i still like the model before this, but they've become far too 'modified' now.
  21. agreed. theres no need to remove the old paint, infact it would have been a nice smooth surface to start painting on, but now you've gone too far really!
  22. im gonna get a hdi kit, im not too sure that it fits ep82's yet tho?
  23. the problem is with paint, its easy to rush it. or to mis-judge how cold it is. i always heat the items (if i can) for a good 15 mins after every coat, so you know its reasonably protected.
  24. heres my one. with my funky hairstyle. Rich.
  25. did you leave it somewhere warm? it looks to me like the paint has bloomed. this happens when it gets too cold while the paint is hardening, it especially happens with thick coats of paint too. my advice, get some fine wet and dry and see if you can rub it back to a layer thats not been affected, if your lucky it'll have only done it to the outer layer so it should buff out.
