lol i think it generally stems from jap race cars... most of them seem to have some form of colourd wheels. i remeber a thread on my local cruise forum that started up just like this about black wheels!!! i got ripped, every one was like, theyre not suposed to be black, leave them silver... its the colour theyre meant to be... (as if they didnt know that theyre just painted!!) now when i go on there i can count at least 20 cars with black wheels! my inspiration came from a minted jap turbo'd suzuki cappichino on the net with gloss black wheels... and that was when black wheels were no where to be seen!!! in a way, i feel a bit gutted, as loads of people have gloss black now... everything i tried to get the car to look different with the black bonnet, wheels and graphics, has kinda become a whole trend... i feel the need to be different again!!!
