  1. the rest of the system was custom made i think mate.
  2. look here mate. http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=42
  3. sorry mate, but i have always hated those type of exhausts (reminds me of a letterbox ) ...it probably does sound pretty nice... but i really dont think it would suit a starly, i personally think they only really look good with single rounds or jap style 'cannon' mufflers, and sometimes even they can look too big. but as said, as long as you like it, thats all that matters. Rich.
  4. ive been reading stuff about ecus for starlets for a while now... and from what i can gather, they seem to be a bit of a grey area... what is the best way to go if you want to do minor mods such as decat turbo back exhaust, bov, fmic & uprated panel filter? would it be better to get one of these blitz or jam ecu's, or get stuff like a fcd for the standard ecu? as getting a e-manage set up could be costly. cheers, Rich.
  5. looking real nice buddy... how much did they set you back? are you using the standard shocks?
  6. i personally dont like the bov's that dump rediculiously loud and for a long period of time... i like the hks purely for the fact that 1, its jap... and 2, it sounds short, sharp, and purposeful. i would consider a the baileys, but would prefer to have the blitz or hks. my 2p. Rich.
  7. lookin nice mate... leave to spots out! and im loving the visable fmic pipework! got any better pics of the glanza sideskirts?
  8. yeah, ive made up a bracket to support it but i dont know how well that'll work.. we'll have to see. still cant believe how stuff keeps breaking! Rich.
  9. http://www.s0nic.hostinguk.com/wiki/ow.asp...etGTTurboManual found it while searchin google... its got some great stuff on it.
  10. if anyone remembers, a few months ago i was complaining about the door strap in the drivers door being broken... well last night i had the window down. i had noticed recently that it had been sticking every now and again... this happened again last night, so i gave it a bit of a tug to get it to wind up and it wouldnt go all the way up!! it had about a 1 inch gap and it turns out the glass had somehow worked its way out of the rubber guides and was getting stuck because of that. so i had the door apart today to see what the problem was and look what i found hanging off in the door.........
  11. i guess they are good handleing cars and are pretty quick for a 1.6. but i gotta be honest... i dont like. its french. and i wouldnt have a french car.
  12. sorry to hear dude, hope you find the little f*ckers.
  13. it looks ok, but it seems a bit to coupe like, in my opinion the evo should be a saloon car with monster performance... that car reminds me alot of the rx8
  14. i seem to remember a few owners on here saying that they can get 31-5 mpg outa the gt driving with a heavy foot. so should be miles better than the gtir in that respect. ive heard that thats the gtir's downfall though isnt it? the fuel consuption? Rich.
  15. i agree. it'll effect all of us if it does happen.
  16. real nice mate. get it lower and she'll be awesome.

  19. glad your ok mate... i get that all the time round my way... i just let them get on with it, and dont give them the satisfaction of a race... in the words of nfs most wanted "i aint racing this nobody!" anywho. glad your ok mate. all the best. Rich.
  20. i gotta omp with a modified frame
  21. i feel the same, but i dont wanna jinx it. lets hope your right.
  22. sorry to hear bud. hope it gets sorted.
  23. mine are genuine toyota ones that came up on ebay.
  24. mine are bolted to the points where the seat is bolted to the subframe. i put some high grade bolts from my dads work in there, and it just passed mot on it, so i cant see it being a problem. by the way. if you want the car to pass mot you will need to remove the rear seat belts COMPLETELY as in buckles and belts... otherwise it will still be classed as a 4-5 seater.
