  1. OEM toyota ones are good... the ones mine came from Japan with were awesome "no-namers" (from what I could see) and worked a treat. Swapped them for Bosch ones which were ok.
  2. I tried toyota for new leads mate -- got a similar quote but I'm sure it was about £90 with the king lead too. Get some magnecors for the same price.
  3. I go away for a week and all hell breaks loose it seems? It's a shame TGTT needs to take subscriptions, and I see where many are coming from claiming it doesn't cost £xxxx.xx's to host and run a site... but if it turns into a better site for it then fair play (as it has been getting worse over the last year especially) I've personally browsed TGTT for several years, joined when I first started researching Glanza's and it's been a great help... but yes the content has been going down hill! Then on the flip side UKSC is looking to become a great information resource in itself (I've se
  4. FMIC Downpipe and 1bar will see 300bhp on a 3sgte easily mate -- Well done on the conversion, I'm sure most people will have given up early on!
  5. Are you maybe thinking of the photoshopped one I did?
  6. You guys should check out my Big Bro's new website ForzaShowcase.net
  7. I only bypassed my LO boost solenoid for 2 weeks and the car felt like a different animal but I got wheelspin all the time and fuel cut a few times so I changed it back after which the car just felt shit and slow, especially in 1st and 2nd!! Made me feel like there was something wrong, but there wasn't. I just found to get any go out my Glanza I'd have to give it loads of revs from 1st gear all the way, say I was in 3rd and just put my foot down, it would take ages to get anywhere. Best option would be to take it to a rolling road to check the fuelling, or if there's anyone in the area wit
  8. Does it not rain in Strood? P.S -- I hate to see you with a faster car Foz if this is what you do with a Sportif
  9. What shape pole was it Scutch?? The new shape Polo GTi is the 1.8T 150PS engine!! Easily tunable to 200bhp+ So maybe it's not as slow as you were thinking?
  10. I'd estimate (with no aftermarket exhaust mentioned) 140-145bhp? Maybe? At low revs? What boost are you making when it judders? Could either be ignition related to faulty leads or distribution cap/rotor (which is quite common) or if you're boosting over ~0.90bar you may very well be hitting fuel cut (since you never mentioned and FCD) Try the GReddy website? Under fuel cut if you don't have supporting fuelling mods like an RRFPR or FCD
  11. His car is pretty much standard Rick -- and I was pretty sure he had changed the thermostat when he bought the car too. So we moved on to other suggestions. If the fpr is ok then there's not too much else apart from leaky injectors or the map sensor surely? Hey rich, does you temp needle sit fine in the middle once it's warm? Mine dropped when I was driving fast, oddly, and never sat at halfway. That was my signs for a new thermostat.
  12. I spent about 10 min on it the other day... working quite a bit this week so I can get time off for hols + flat hunting before I start my new job. I'll post up the shading I've done so far in a min. ======= Ok here's what I've got so far... it stills needs a broad imagination but give it a squint I think the shading is quite hard because the photo I'm working from has a lot of tree reflection and stuff... maybe I'm just making excuses tho P.S I'll finish it off on friday night hopefully (sounds a sad state of affairs sitting in on a friday night doing this doesn't it? )
  13. I quite like the matt style oz's -- but yeah the new wheels are nice too!
  14. Have you maybe got a vacuum leak from your map sensor or FPR? Do Glanza's have Coolant temperature sensors? That could lead the car to think it's colder than what it is if faulty and lead to overfuelling? Also I'm sure you replaced the thermostat when you fisrt got the car didn't you mate?
  15. My mate has owned a T-sport corolla... and yes it was fast! He now owns a Corolla Compressor.... and yes it's faster It's a champagne colour tho... not my first choice, but sounds great!
  16. Could you possibly have given us any worse pictures to work with? I don't even think that CRX is white anyway.. it looks silver to me? And the wheels aren't that nice either.
  17. Someone made a good point in the comments -- looks a bit like a new Civic?
  18. I'm slowly getting to the bit I'm dreading... the shading, my last attempt honestly was so shit I just deleted the whole .psd
  19. A little further on... I'm not so sure about adding the front mount? Looks a bit crap imo:
  20. I've started.... again... on my Glanza vector. I totally scrapped the first one because the layers were everywhere and coming back to it after a couple of months things were just going pear shaped. This is a couple hours work this afternoon. The hard bit for me os still to come, the wheels (because they're quite complex) and the shading (because I'm shit at it!) but I'll give it a go... anyway, progress so far:
  21. I love the whole new-retro thing...
