My mate just got rid of his GT4 for a SEAT Ibiza CupraR (One of only 75 or something he tells me) and it's bloody quick!! 183BHP standard!! We came off a roundabout (and if I hadn't have been there myself I wouldn't believe a word of it) with 4 in the car with a scooby STi chasing us and my mate kept 1 car length ahead of the impreza all the was to about 125mph... then the scooby went to go out by but realised he wouldn't pass us very quick ly so ducked back in He says with a chip and the turbo off the 225BHP TT he can be running 250+ bhp pretty inexpensively!

The power steering belt from the NA is shorter -- Geo used one because he got rid of the A/C I'm sure.

If you can get the car within reach of a hair dryer and some petrol that'll prob be the easiest way! The hairdryer won't get as hot as a heat gun so you don't risk taking off the paint, and the petrol isn't as harmful to the paint as thinners. And I'd say if you've got a flex long enough to get the hairdryer to the car then you should get the drill out with a buffing wheel.
