The price is the only thing putting me off a new PS3 -- but then a new Blueray drive when they come out will be around £400 so I suppose as an entertainment system the PS3 will be justified at £450+
I'm getting about 250mi to £35 (that's optimax @ 104.9p/litre -- though I saw when I got back my hols yesterday that the new Vpower 99RON is only 97.4p/litre )
Are you talking about something along the lines of this? I did it before I started trying vector images -- Got one of Wullies car to which I used for the banner I designed but it's on my comp which isn't connected to our little home network right now! Here's the header if you're wondering what I'm talking about.
An FCD won't keep you on the safe side -- It'll just let you get past the factory fuel cut ie. Fuel Cut Defencer (Which technically is the dangerous side) It basically tricks the ECU into thinking that you haven't gone past the point of fuel cut (0.9BAR I'm sure though no-one has given me a definitive answer) So therefore you aren't fueling for the boost you'll be running which will lead to you running lean, detonation and pistons with great big holes in them. The way people get around this is by fitting an RRFPR (rising rate fuel pressure regulator) and an uprated fuel pump along with your FCD -- you will prob have to set this up with a wideband lambda sensor or on a Rolling road to get it right though.
Well Glanza Ragger from another thread I've gathered that Glanza (the guy posing the question) So with an exhaust manifold and decat he will most likely be hitting fuel cut!!
Get a Banzai mag or something similar and just work your way from front to back of the insurance companies -- that's what I did and I ended up with a reasonable quote I thought!! [edit] Saying that -- I was insuring a Glanza, dunno what your situation is but I don't think there's usually much hassle insuring GT's [/edit]
Well I'm getting roughly 250-275mi to a tank and it's about 350mi to birmingham from where I am so dunno what I'll do -- Just fill up with ultimate at the last motorway services (or preferably optimax if there's one on the way)
You can hybridise 2 ways (with a word explantion) -- Make the turbine wheel smaller, which will aid spooling. Make the compressor wheel larger, which will provide more flow. Obviously you can do combinations of the two etc to suit yourself.
I just lift-off oversteer, works perfectly, just feather the throttle and it goes where I want -- I say this now, next week I'll be in a hedge probably
Think the coloured ones are actually kevlar (same diff but all the coloured ones I've seen have stated kevlar on them not CF ) Think it's just an aluminum/aluminium affair (damn yanks)
Am I the only one who can't see any pics?? Ok I did it the hard way and got the photo URL's from the source but never saw any pics of gauges -- what gauges are they?
Yeah it can but you'd be pretty unsure of the boost you'll be running -- I know a lot of people say say xx mm for 1bar etc but I'd recommend a boost gauge!
