My mate mapped a GT with a TD04 a few weeks ago -- He says it started boosting at 2500rpm, and pulled all the way to the redline. Said it didn't seem laggy at all (then he Had a superT70 on his GT4) never mentioned when it made full boost but I've been hearing 3500rpm for an average TD04 being banded around.

I never really launch the car -- since I'm an upstanding law abiding citizen... but on the odd occasion when the need arises, like avoiding bullets in Drongan, then I just feather it it till I know I'm not going to spin up then nail it.

you get a "puller" to get steering wheels off the splines -- but they're for pussies only joking mate... they can be stuck on there pretty hard. Kind of the same as a flywheel puller if you go looking for one.

Before you buy a universaly check what pressure drop you get across the core -- this will give you an idea of how efficient it is. Also don't go for one thats too big -- unles your getting a bigger turbo, but even then, it doesn't need to be huge!

I have to sympathis with the woman -- there's a lot of loud cars on my street -- a rally prepped Mk2 escort, impreza, MG ZR with the loudest exhaust ever... and my car Though it's actually not too bad! But the noisiest bloody car on the street is an old micra with two 10" subs in the back -- it just rolls up and down the street playing god awful music!! I dunno maybe I'm just getting old??

How many paddles does this clutch have? The more paddles the easier it will be to use because if you can imagine it's more like an ordinary clutch. My mates was a 4paddle twin plate jobby -- and it's a bitch to use. It helps to rev slightly on down shifts too ;)
