I stuck mine to the back of that bar and it sat just right -
Engine and box are worth about £500 so you could probably make the £300 back quite easily

I haven't seen the videos (as my netbook doesn't like loading pbucket videos) but it may be ignition related. My GT was bogging down and misfiring when one of the plugs was wet from water dripping through the scoop, worth checking out as it's quite a common fault. -

Yeah it'll be a different shape but my DIY skills fail haha! I'd make up some templates how I want them shaped, but would have no skill when it comes to making the actual canards aha. Sounds like a plan!
