Not really man, loads of stands for one model have other models chucked on there somewhere. As long as they're at the back it'll be cool; I'd take a guess that due to big numbers we'll probably be in the same spot at last year where there wasn't a "back of the stand". We were lined up along a lane.

Cool that gives me a better idea about CG then! I always use my sealant when polishing as I know it'll keep it beading and protect the finish for a good few months! My car isn't really dull at the moment so I'm not needing much of a cut, but a hand polish will get it looking its best again Is that the new formulation of SRP? Quite a lot of people on Detailing World etc highly rate the new SRP for putting out much less dust. I have a litre bottle of the old stuff and barely used any, I just got fed up of it dusting so much and marking plastic trim lol I've ordered 750ml of CG so I'll see

Yeah I'm pretty sure someone on here was selling a set of spacer adaptors
-
Someone needs to buy these
-
Some 15's may need spacers though, most 15x7s should be okay

I'd assume it'll just go, if you heat it up hot with a heat gun you'll probably be fine. Just don't melt the paint either lol

Indiglo dials fitted but incorrect tach/revs now.
Amjad replied to TurboTobz's topic in Interior & ICE
I could've sworn I posted my update in here lol! Anyhoo, I put it to ignition when the dials were back in, it shot to 3000rpm. Took the needle off trying not to turn the spindle(?) thingy, set it to 0rpm and when it started it went to it's usual 1600ish-rpm -
True! Lovely track to drive, the corners following the main one where spectators are, are great fun to drive and would be good to see but I imagine you aren't allowed down there
-
Smart choice ;)

I can't say whether I can come in advance, it'll more likely be a spur of the moment kinda thing if I'm free lol
-
Think Rbz had this when seals went and then replaced the turbo. Took the exhaust off, poured petrol down it a few times to clear out the muck and all was well
-
Sounds good then! I don't get a lot of time off uni, I'll probably do a panel a day and it'll be ready in time for JF haha
-
Not any time soon fellas I'm afraid, lots of uni assignments over the next few weeks. If you wanna go ahead and arrange something, if I can turn up I will do

Thanks Dean, sounds like a decent polish! I have some Berry Blast tucked away somewhere so that's cool
-
Cool cool! Depending on how you find it performs, I may try and talk Grant into sourcing me up a kit if he can
-
I loved your Jam V2 bumper but HRF is also awesome!
-
I've got a sealant I love (FK1000p), I plan to follow up the polish with that! Thanks Matt, what's the dust like? Would you get a spray bottle for it or just apply it normally? Any idea whether it can be diluted for use as a Quick Detailer?

Yeah I'm out more in the day and see barely any modded/nice cars about locally lol We are near the M27 though and they seem to come out at night haha. There's a guy with a lovely Purple EP82 near me who I've seen once, but I don't think he's on here and wasn't on UKSC either..

As above guys, which one is better? I have a big bottle of the old formulation Super Resin Polish, which whilst giving good results, does dust up a lot! Would it be worth me trying out Cherry Glaze? I use Menzerna polishes with my machine so this topic is just regarding "touch-up" polishes done by hand. Despite the NA still looking quite decent from my paint correction session last year I figured I'd give it a hand polish ready for Japfest to brighten it up and get it back to that freshly corrected state! Wicked, I look forward to seeing what temps you get! Need a relocation kit anyway seeing as my filter is pushed up again the belt tensioner thing thanks to the sandwich plate! Did you buy the kit or did you/Grant make it up?

I've joined HJC but still haven't managed to get myself to a meet after over 2 years lol

My little one, albeit on my pink wheels http://s56.photobucket.com/user/lowrida786/media/Project%20EP/20120809_195957_Hagrid.jpg.html'>

Very nice Toby! Your CT9 sounds very jet-like haha

I'm in Southampton, well I will be later tonight! Can't do any meets until after my exams in June unfortunately. The only car-related escapade I've allowed myself before then is JF lol
