Yeah man I would personally never pay more than £1k for insurance, it's just money down the drain otherwise! Have you looked at quotes? Bell/Admiral seem to be cheapest for me but I haven't phoned up specialist insurers who don't give online quotes (Premium Choice, Adrian Flux, Sky etc)

Too much hassle & too little money bro lol I'd rather just fix this one up, developed an attachment and all that haha Meh I'll see what prices are like after 1 NCB, I'll only start driving it if and when I can get insurance under £1k!

Thanks man, it sucks that I live so far away from all the sprayers/bodyshop guys on UKSC ;) Just been looking at insurance quotes, I've got 0 NCB at the moment, should be able to get insured on this in 2 years for £900..I wish I was a patient person lol

Ordered a brand new headlight slam panel piece from Toyota through Gary GBR for £30 If I get it by Friday (when I'm back in Cardiff) I'm gonna take the car, along with the new quadlight and slam panel piece to the bodyshop for an estimate on the repair costs! Otherwise gonna have to leave it until Xmas holidays in a few weeks I'm hoping it won't be too dear seeing as I'm cutting down on the need to repair damaged parts!
