I Went To Check A Few Parts At Toyota Which Was A Fail..
Amjad replied to Amjad's topic in Lifestyle General
That's what I was thinking Michel, I watched it recently and now I really want an '86! Shib is that the kitted one in Bradford? I think I saw it from afar last year! -
Wow I didn't think the buggy would be that long/wide, looks really cool! Kind of reminds me of a preying mantis

So after being told I needed a Glanza's chassis code I went back into the car about to head off home. I suddenly hear a loud car, looking in the rear view mirror, "WTF IT'S AN AE86!!" lol It was parked up in the staff car park by one of the Technicians, I had a quick chat with him. He said it's his friends 4th '86 now and he does the work on it as he's qualified with Toyota, and he was kind enough to let me take some pics I've never seen one in the metal since I was like 5 (yes, I remember lol) but ohh my god!! I fell in love with it straight away! I can't remember whether he said it was

The wheels might not have been balanced? That's the only thing I can think of if you've already sorted alignment!
-
Ohhh EMB! It should be good once mapped! What are the future plans?
-
Sorry I'm afraid I don't. They're a really nice set of rims though I'm sure someone on here or TGTT will snap them up How much is it costing you to get them powdercoated if you don't mind me asking? That'll make them easier to sell I guess! What are your plans for the V now?

Now that is just weird! I said to the guy "I've got a Reg number for a car registered as a Glanza", he showed me the screen and goes, "Oh but I've just typed EP91 into this box and you need the rest of the Chassis code 00.... to type in to the next box otherwise it won't let me search the database" It's all good though Gary's helping me out now -

I thought they used them on Fiesta ZS, Mondeo ST Diesel etc? o.O

Hmm funny that no-one says that about Laguna splitters, which are more common on Chav cars.. I reckon the LCR is one of the best looking splitters that fits on most cars
