Looks and sounds insane! Are you getting some fuel surge?
-
Yeah yeah

Interesting! Same here, the pedal got a lot better but I do want an even more solid feel

Cool cool! Thanks

Ooh I missed the post! Is that spigot like the one you supplied me? Or an alloy wheel one?

Dude if you could make up rear caliper bracket which allowed you to bolt a better caliper on, which still kept the original disc and handbrake cable.. that would be mega.
Some VW calipers from the motor factors are only like 40 quid.
Seconded! Rear brakes suck

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASI'm based in northeast Scotland near Aberdeen!
The thing I'm desperate to make is a independent rear suspension kit!
I honestly think I couldn't make enough of them!!
Cheers for all your input guys it's great appreciated
The brand would be staying "Guess Workx"
Dean mentioned when I was down at his that he would like to develop an all round independent suspension using civic parts on his demo EP91. However he is a one man team and is too busy building customer cars, so unfortunately I don't think he'll get the chance any time soon.
Someone needs to jump on it, would be amazing for us track guys especially!

Was talking to a mate of mine who is clued up about Corolla's and MR2's, he was telling me there's a way of using a 275mm disc with Levin twins.
Whether that would be better than the single ST185 I don't know, as the ST165/early ST185 had twins, and late ST185 singles. I would presume the latter is better, but that may also be due to the increase in disc diameter

Looks stunning, Rob!

The one you had off me is the 7/8 buddy ☺
Ah happy days! Had the Ferodo's up to optimal temps yesterday and can confirm they are brilliant! On AD08R fronts and NS2R rears and there was no hint of locking up either, though I still wish the rears were more powerful regardless.

Great thread!
I was having soft pedal issues on same setup (albeit with DS2500 pads), and it turned out to be a faulty master cylinder.
Gonna check if my replacement is the larger BMC, if not I may try one out

Great to hear things are moving along! Are the above prices excluding discs/lines/pads?

That's crazy! I've been a bit paranoid so have run what is probably too much fuel (full to 3/4 tank) on track. Might look into the same thing at some point
