  1. Stunning! May I ask where you managed to get the front Livesports lip?
  2. Think so
  3. Woahh that was unexpected!!
  4. That's seriously nice, the lip sets them off!
  5. He had his arches rolled
  6. Welcome! I quite like these, I think it may be the only active Tercel build on here! Do cars in Canada rust really badly? I remember seeing a video a while back of someone's used Mazda that was a few years old, and it looked really bad underneath. The thought of that much rust sent shivers haha
  7. It's really odd, the guy who does my MOT was adamant that no imports pass without a cat lol I know he's wrong to some extent but don't wanna argue with him so he fails me on other stuff lol. Also didn't want to go around finding a new tester as I need the car done asap! I'll have the car in Southampton next year for MOT anyway so should be sorted then. Went to Toyota today to order new studs for the cat and also some screws and clips for the dash Just a change of heart really, I do like them but the scrubbing was annoying me. Also I didn't like the fact that for small stretch to help fitment you'd need 185 or less, I don't wanna drop tyre size which is why I wish they were 8J and a higher offset. The OZs will be my normal rims for now and once I can afford a "showier" set, they'll become my track wheels
  8. Oh ok thank you! Gonna take my spare cat with me to b&q to see if there's any bolts that fit it properly! By the way, I should be okay with a bolt/nut that has two washers bigger than the actual hole right?
  9. Okay so my Japspeed front section flange isn't threaded, but my SPS decat is. It takes 3x16mm (M10?) bolts Tried to fit my Cat back on for MOT and the bolts won't fit (I don't have, or remember what the stock setup was like). The first pic is the one where a 16mm bolt is too big to go through from cat side due to shape of the cat, and then if you do it from exhaust side, a nut still can't sit on the cat side (m10 17mm nut). The second pic is the one I've been told is fine pitch? 1.25? The 16mm bolt is fine size wise, but the thread is wrong The last pic with the sump in the pic is the one I have secured using a m10 bolt and nut I'm trying to look at the toyota diagrams but it only shows a stud going between the exhaust and cat, rather than a bolt and nut? And as you probably know the toyota parts guys are clueless also! I don't know whether it shows a stud as a generic picture, or whether it is actually a stud. The other thing I'm confused on, is that it says the number two in brackets, what's that about? I know that two holes aren't threaded (so I'm guessing a nut and bolt is needed) and one is threaded; but then it doesn't show what is needed for the third threaded hole? Any help greatly appreciated! If anyone know what size and what to buy generally let me know, as I'd rather a trip to B&Q than have to wait around for a day! Thanks Amjad
  10. Gave them a herculean clean today! There is some very, very deeply bedded in tar one on or two wheels in some spots that won't shift at all. I'm gonna need some crazy wheel cleaner or something; even clay wouldn't budge it! But aside from that, gave them a quick polish with Meguiar's Compound and coated in a layer of Collinite 476. Gonna give them a coat of FK1000p now and let them cure overnight hopefully for when the tyres arrive in the morning! Tested the rear brakes today and all seems well! My lacquer spray didn't arrive yesterday so I gave each rear caliper a couple of coats, just need to get the front calipers off some time to do the same!
  11. Wow someone plucked up the courage to buy those at last haha! As above, not envying the work that's gonna be needed. But when done will look amazing!
  12. *Update* So I have a bit of time to add the few pictures I've taken since the work kicked off! Here it was on Sunday, looking quite sorry for himself! Took ages cleaning the grime off from all the nooks, crannies and shuts! And much better following a thorough clean! Slim HID kit to go on after MOT New Outer CV boots, track rod ends, ball joints, fuel filter and thermostat from ID-WORKZ, thanks again! And then work began on the brakes, the old ones.. And new bearings, pads, discs and my replacement calipers that I resprayed (fluoro pink) Other side Centre caps for the new wheels! I think you can tell the theme I'm going for! The surface was too rough for the stickers to seat and when sealing them, some came off lol. So I'm gonna sand them smooth and spray them with some chrome spray I have left over from when I did my '98 spec indicators! And perhaps the most exciting update, 15x7 OZ Superleggera's! Thanks to Socks for these! They're silly light (5.1kg) so looking forward to the difference they make! Hopefully tyres should arrive today and I can get them on, but first thing's first I need to give them a thorough clean and seal them once they are spotless http://s56.photobucket.com/user/lowrida786/media/Project%20EP82/PicsArt_1371642352822_zps614c0231.jpg.html'> Nice to have an update with pics for once Amjad
  13. Try going to an exhaust place and see what they say bro, failing that any good mechanics you know
  14. Welcome!
  15. Yes Steve!
  16. Yeah because when you lower a Starlet, the rear axle shifts to the right
  17. Might slightly rub on driver side rear, get an adjustable panhard rod to set rear axle centre if so
