  1. Oh come on...MegaDrive... E-Swat or Ghouls and Ghosts end of story.
  2. Yup, my double dragon PCB weighs more than the EP.
  3. StarletRick in his infinite sexiness has tempted me with a racing fuel cell on the auctions... Obviously, the racing tank will weigh a lot less than the stock blob, but there are two options...do you a) Go for a tank that simply supplies fuel (how does this work..with no pump in tank) and fit an external fuel pump...sounds like a pain in the arse Get a tank that has the option of retro fitting the EP82 fuel pump etc into. Benefits to either? either way it's some effort, extending/replacing fuel lines etc...and working out how to fill the tank esp if it's in the boot (my boot is non funct
  4. Not that expensive...the wife bought it me for christmas? £250? but if you look on Ebay you can pick 'em up much cheaper if you're prepared to do some work Converting a cabinet to MAME isn't a big big task, just takes time (something I'm yet to do). That cab can play all Jamma PCBs and Neo Geo carts like King of Fighters, Samurai Showdown etc. Don't underestimate the size and weight of them though, we had to strip mine down to the bare shell to lift it, then it literally filled the door frame putting it in the study.
  5. I'm 30, though about 76 physically...and 4 (months) mentally.
  6. Now THAT's what I'm talking about...photo taken in our study about 3 minutes ago... That's how I roll
  7. This thread has made me all nostalgic *clicking sound as Mark slots Metal Slug X into the Neo Geo* I used to love skipping school to go down the local arcade and play Street Fighter 2 Rainbow Edition (now got the PCB of that...and it's shit). We have another arcade cabinet at work, used to be Primal Rage but the boss converted it to MAME and we play Pang every single day. A new developer joined the company, only 17! never even heard of Pang...little bastard is now top of the leaderboard. Pesky kids.
  8. MaccyD, you know the score Glanza-Love...knock yourself out: http://www.night-spirit.co.uk/blog Link to blog, last entry...wall papers
  9. fuck me...kids... I remember my first home console...PONG. Then I moved up to a Commodore 16 (like the 64 only a different colour and completely shite) then my mate got a NES, he was the coolest kid in the school. I got a Master System, which was total shite too. Then finally, I bought a Japanese MegaDrive with Thunderforce III it was the greatest thing in the world ever. A SNES followed that, then a Comodore Amiga 600 (fucking awesome), then a Sega Saturn (toss) then a Sega Dreamcast (overhyped toss), PS1, then an X-Box, then a Wii for the wife...and now...what pinnacle of home video gamin
  10. Sure Glanza-Love, tell me which file you want (name) and what size you want it...full res is 2560x something or other.
  11. BlueBear you know I will...I've been promising myself a GTR for a LONG time now, currently no garage so that scuppers any plans for the immediate future but soon, some how, I'll take the plunge and start a build.
  12. ft major l Actually, and don't hate me...I used to own a 4ltr Chimaera..it was a piece of shit but I loved it...total pony though. The wife has already agreed that me driving a Cerbera or a Tuscan S would be 'acceptable' as a daily driver My dream though would be to rape the EP for a long time (fingers crossed) have much lol in it, then store it away as I love it too much to flog on (and nobody would buy it, it's too..well too) and start building an Ultima for fun.
  13. To add to the above...IF I don't abuse and enjoy this car to the absolute limit (I get precious about cars I work on) I've made a deal with the wife that I'll stop tuning cars and buy something fast but sensible like a new M3 and just become middle aged.
  14. MaccyD, it started as an exercise in keeping me sane (work is hard), to show what you can do with Yahoo parts AND racing non-competitively...if I entered it in a race series I wouldn't have the time, or the money to support it. Racing costs a shit load. Believe me, with my mates, it won't be long before we do something gay like racing naked.
  15. It's loud and although the seat and harness are a nice place to be, it's fucking hot and uncomfortable, you do feel like you're driving something special, inside it's not like the little car you see on the outside, it's more like a weapon...I've said it before but the car doesn't go round corners any more, the world turns round the car.
  16. Shit scutch..that's bad you can only plan for so much though, if any of us fuck the cars up, I'll be spending the rest of the holiday chilling with the in-laws in Holland Well I say 400hp Skyline, it's only 355 atw. With it weighing around 1400kg (me being generous there) that gives him a power to weight of 290.3 per tonne....versus me, 203 atw and oh look...725kg, I have 336 per tonne...awesome. It'll be so funny, two 200+ atw EP82s buzzing round Godzilla. by the way, we've budgeted £450 for fuel as we're coming back (fingers crossed) over the alps and the mont blanc tunnel
  17. Cheers again chaps, let's hope next time you see shots of it, it's moving
  18. Jay mate, thankyou...but I don't mind paying you like? Address etc on pm
  19. Tell you what Nathy I'll just take it anyway mate...give me a price and ship it to me saturday if possible? I reckon I'll need one anyway, unless I find a decent auto electrician who can figure out what the fuck I've done to the hazard curcuit.
  20. Prob wrong section so apologies I'm looking for someone to do me a large favour and take a photo of their hazard light switch on an EP82, that's the wires going into the switch and what connects where...is there a curcuit diagram for the hazard light switch on the internet somewhere?? Also...finally....has anyone got a spare hazard light switch from an EP82 I can buy, with the plug and a bit of the wiring...this hazard light malarky is driving me crazy
  21. Ah, small world... Adam's car is no longer lush as I've had my way and got him to butcher the interior Adam's car is an interesting one, it still weighs more than Jupiter...and it's a Datsun...but he's done some serious mods to the handling, everything is uprated with Nismo or Kei-Office parts and a nice set of 6 pot 350mm Endless calipers/discs. Still think the EP will rape him
  22. Liam..that may be a problem...there's only one seat
  23. Hehe, Matt...known him many years, top bloke. He's also building a track EP for the ring trip. His car is running 175hp atw currently on a TD04. We've also got my mate Adam (from the last BW meet I went to) in his R32 GTR pushing a mild 400hp. His car is now on a diet as we put the rollcage in this weekend and realised most of the car doesn't fit anymore. It should be an interesting trip and YES WE HAVE BULLET CAMS all of us. The DVD will be out soon after the event...or a video atleast. Ecks, if we come home having set a lap over 9 minutes, we'll all be pissed off. Tall order, but I think w
