  2. hi guys i have an issue getting the old GT tracking done because they either cant get it on a ramp or the things they use wont go under the arches. Any suggestions? im about to try National as i know they have a flat ramp but just not sure about the tools. and also do these places know the settings for getting the alignemt right? im in EK Scotland so i cant travel far due to a near illegal tyre..

  9. this was on a standard ct9. the red graph was using the actuator alone, and then blue was with the mbc.
  10. its not badly cracked though, it will be getting replaced at some point soon though. i will try take a pic of the power graph for you guys to see.
  11. Thanks for the replies. I've no idea what the AFR is.. I need to get a gauge tbh. When it was on the rollers on a standard ct9 arb 1 bar it was about 12 AFR on wot I'll check the arm but I'm sure it was fine when I last looked..

Hi fellas, i recently refitted a hybrid on with the same hks actuator and mbc etc which is all good. i finally got it sitting at 1 bar via the mbc but! it was running about .9 bar and it just didnt feel that great, i then adjusted it very slightly to 1 bar and the car spooled so much quicker and took off, seriously! i thought great! awsome! but again it seems to have slowed down and doesnt take off as well as it did any more, its hard to explain. it still pulls decent etc but not how it should i dont think. i do have a slight crack in the mani but even still. no boo
  13. what benefit would this have over a manual boost controller other than being able to change the value of boost? #tempted

  16. When the car was on the rollers the actuator didn't give boost well and when the MBC was fitted it made a big difference which is why its on in the first place.. If I wind the actuator right out can I not then set the boost from the MBC?
  17. thats how ive got it setup now, we had the pipes on the other way but it still wont boost. ive tried winding it right in and out.. if the mbc is set right out its less boost and screwed in is more boost, i checked this earlier. it just doesnt seem right. you dont think its to do with rotating the housing a bit?
  18. Hi guys I just swapped over to a hybrid. Using my old hks actuator and r spec mbc. But it either shoots way past 1 bar or now won't pass 10psi since I swapped the mbc pipes round. I wound the actuator arm right out and the mbc out but don't seem to be getting anywhere. Can any one confirm which mbc pipes go where to b sure I done it correct. So actuator and Turbo inlet. Getting stressed now! Cheers lads
