  1. Not realy it just depends on how bad the seals have gone on the turbo..
  2. So it starts smokeing when the boost kicks in? and only when the boost kicks in? if so i can only think of it been the turbo like glanza cl said in your last thread,
  3. If you have got a new pcv valve then doesn't matter if the old one snaps pull it you pussy lol
  4. You dont take that second skin off lol you just pull the pcv valve from the top of the rocker cover....then with your new pcv valve just push it back in lol
  5. Hmmm im not sure about that question lol i got mine from Toyota and give them my chassis number so they new stright away what pump i neeeded.

Well the water pump was easy to do for me put im not sure if it will be easy for you if you take the starter motor off pluss the alternator it makes life so much easyer.. the way i see it if you dont try and do it your self then you will never learn but thats just me lol if you use your car for work then get etc then get mechanic to do it as it might be off the road for abit if you do it....I never done one befor and i had mine done in about 3hours max
  9. Yeah mate if the cambelt has been change not long ago then dont bother i think they need changeing every 50.000miles or so. And if the head gasket is ok then leave that to.. if you take your head off all the timeing will be out and you will have to get that set back up and that means more money just change the water pump...im sure it will be ok when you have done that.
  10. ^^Luke Is bang on as per Dont bother with your head gasket if its ok the leave it...if its not ok and needs doing then you will have to use the oem Toyota head gasket as luke has said it will change the compression and thats a no no.. on stock internals also when was the last time the timeing belt was done? if that doesn't need doing then dont do it lol just change the water pump and go from there
  11. Nice update mate when are you planing to fit the e-management?...what will you be doing with the JAM ECU? Also im not sure if you already know but if you are running alot of boost with the stock manifold in place you can kill your engine. Because the third runner is restrictive people say dont run anymore than 0.8bar on the stack manifold....I hope that bit of info has help mate

  18. Lol yeah they can look the shits lol. And yeah the decat is braced its one of the best decats you can buy for the ct9/ct9hybrid its cast iron and virtualy impossible to crack....well so they say lol you can also put all the heat shield's off the catalytic converter on to the decat
