  1. thanks guys, really happy with it to but my intercooler is so dirty!! How to clean it? or should i just spray it matt black, would be easier probably. here is a quick shot i just made:
  2. THAT IS AWESOME!!! that steering wheel is epic!! AND so CLEAN!!! gets my fingers all itchy! It's such a beautiful V mate, all mods are so tasteful, deep respect!!
  3. thought it was worth posting up, as this guy is a UTTER TOOL! At the same time a had a great laugh, staying polite all the way while he was making a complete fool of himself
  4. update time! got my 98 spec bumper fitted just an hour ago. REALLY happy i got the other brackets from my toyota dealer, otherwise i would have not been able to bolt up the front part of the bumper. here as some teaser pics as it was dark and only had mobile to make pics:
  5. ok came across a vid on youtube off a eclipse that was ok but had huge ugly 19inch bling rims on it so i posted: The reaction is got was rather shocking: WHAT!?!? so i replied something in the fashion of not owning a civic and that their was no reason at all to react like this. But that it did prove the lack of any intelligence. I can't quote it directly cause he deleted my post.. Reply: Reply: Reply: My final Reply: but seriously is this guy for real? not saying all americans are like this but i NEVER EVER had such a retarded narrow minded reaction to any of my posts
  6. intrested! not for me but for my lil bro as he has my N/A atm.
  7. a intercooler with the connections pointing back should win enough space to make it possibel without crazy pipework. like this:
  8. your 100% correct ste91 look at this pic, i think a intercooler like this would ROCK!! covering full front and not in need of any trimming at all it seems. i am gonna fit a 98spec bumper soon, and i will measure up what size a intercooler should be to match above picture. I really hope HDI listens to the community, wonder why they ever chose such a redicuolosly big core to start with.
  9. only hit me on the last sentence, but good one
  10. Thanks Sparky!! i will soon have to get a F*CK AIRRIDE decal Seriously looking at the pictures myself i am amazed how i even get over speedbumps at all Anyway expect some cool pics coming up from the JAF event over here, we are going to get a stand there with a couple of glanza's, GTT's and P7 turbo's. Should really shake things up, as most only expect civics and the sorts
  11. Thanks guys! I had new springs installed yesterday, new brakepads and droplinks. Made a big difference on the feel of the car. Way more direct feel in steering in to a corner. I just had OEM brakepads installed but th ecar brakes MUCH better now, just shows that keeping your brakes fresh makes all the difference. Also had the oil+ oil filter changed. Cost me quite a few pennies but it was worth it. Also received my late spec fog lights so the 98 spec bumper wil be going on asap. About the springs, i first had 35mm drop and requested a 30mm drop with the new springs. Yeah i know i'm chicken
  12. yeah it's horrible, was the talk of the day over here.
  13. polish is not protect but feed/condition your paint, so you will need to wax it as a last step.
  14. That rolla looks great! NXT 2.0 is propper stuff, certainly on well looked after metallic paints. I must say for non-metallic paint i strongly advice the Gold Class line, it works ten times better then the NXT line up. I have both and worked on metallic and non-metallic cars, nonmetallic red cars seem to react much better to Gold Class line up.
  15. search around in the rides section. You can find some guys with the Hdi fmic, you will find out it needs some serious cutting. CLICK me to go to members rides
  16. claying really gives your car a propper deap cleaning, pulling the dirt out. Cars that look clean turn out to have a whole other level of clean. @ iamlegend Because you get to really clean the paint this way that same paint is much better accesible for polishing, conditioning and waxing. Meaning it restores the paint much better, brings out the colours much better and is sealed much better. Oh dear lord, i sound like a Meg's spokesman.... But seriously, claying truly rocks!!!
  17. what front mount is that? looks sweet!!
  18. ok its been a busy month and i hardly had time to do stuff, i am currently still waiting for the foglights for the bumper, but i have confirmation they are in the country I FINALLY got one of my Sparco seats in, putting in aftermarket seats and having to make own rails is not fun but boy o boy am i a happy driver, it totally transformed the feel of the ride! they are on sliders and recline, so they can adjusted to fir any driver. but enough talking here are some pics: Want to get the other seat in before JAF, thats the dutch counterpart of JAE and its on the same weekend. so what y
  19. Thnx Ste, spotted that one before, anyone more pics?
  20. they have been "in the making" for a long time The main reason i got myself a 98spec bumper was because i want to get a HDI, the routing on my japspeed is horrible in my opinion i will try on my 98 spec bumper on rico's Glanza first, he has a HDI, that way i can see if not to much cutting is needed. If thats the fact i will be getting a HDI. So does someone have a 98spec bumper with a HDI FMIC fitted?? Would be great to have a look
  21. you fit them to the crashbar, they are not as high as autobahn/japspeed. Dont have to remove aircon either, but they take out a huge chunk of your bumper! i suppose it should be better with a 98 spec bumper on a V cause it has less bumper in total anyway.
  22. retaining crashbar with an autobahn means removing aircon right?
