Look good mate, they don't look half as good without the lip so keep them like that

Electrical, have heard stories of the pipe on mechanical gauges splitting......cant be good!

After spending all that money on my engine I would never be without the gauges! Oil pressure for example, if it loses pressure the gauge will flash up a warning and you can switch the car off quick enough in order to save it! Without a gauge you would never know and your engine in turn would be fucked.....boost gauges help with spikes etc....temp gauges help with the obvious.......

Don't worry about it mate, injector noise should increase as you put more load on them due to the increase in pressure that's needed is the car still driving the same? Could be a serious case of paranoia lol
