Breakers yard I would guess. If the motor is mucking noises but not moving the cog teeth have probably been mullered, when mine went I bought an mr2 motor and took the cog from that. Think they can fit but need a little retiring or something so I just opened it up and took the part needed..

Nothing wrong with it being there as folk have stated that is the standard position basically. Although it is less than optimal for performance.

Glad to hear td are recovering it, as annoying as it can be mistakes do happen, we are only human, it's how you rectify the problem. And problems will eventually happen no matter which company you use. Although it's funny that someone feels the need to phone up td and say shit. From what I read everything posted is a fair enough point of view, yes you were pissed off and quite rightly so, everyone would be if they just spent a not insignificant sum of money then that to happen. And since you are waiting to be recovered and costing you cash it makes it worse as can do nothing but fume about

Are the trd wheels volks wheels? Showing how little I know about them, if so it's funny as my first starlet came with volks and I hawked them lol

Ha ha being honest I'm not really sure what they are worth. Although not actively looking to sell them as they are another different thing about the car if you get me.

Thanks lads. Yeah abotts old red, any pics of it now? I could possibly sell the alloys if you really want them like. The shifter was actually the first thing that sold on my car, not sure what happened though as the guy wasn't a big poster on the forums but he was into racing I think.
