  1. Excellent customer service as ever it seems buddy!
  2. Can anyone in the uk remap those farina ecu's? As I thought they where rare as hell and like the jam/blitz ecu's? But it is cool. but if you're turbo aint in good nick it won't like it. I would like it, but would only turn it on now and again tbh.
  3. it's what I did, as the camskill guy recommended the 23's but in the end turned out I needed the 30 like. And you only loose a bit for the postage, you get a full refund for the item itself like, but depends how quickly you need it.
  4. Only way to 100% confirm which you need is to take apart the shaft unfortunately buddy. Which is a ball ache if you need the car. Or you could do what I did and buy both from Camskill and return the ones you don't need.
  5. Nothing wrong with the glanza except the mud guards and sun strip. And not being an 82
  6. i thought hb3 was the closest match to it, not a exact match? But yeah, they are real expensive from the main stealer like, half makes me want to swap to square lamp and get a set of hids.
  7. Yeah I can but I do have to work the wheel reasonably. Although I don't remember how badly clarkson let it go so to say.
  8. I have plenty of grip of the steering wheel and holding it straight yet my 82 still veers off under hard acceleration. . .
  9. I aint a fan of blue wheels but I think that looks mint. And I love that colour of starlet! Top work buddy, keep it up!
  10. Both motors are looking good folks Keep up the good work!
  11. depending where and when I might pop up
  12. Thanks for the kind words lads Was glad to tidy up the mess like, was a bit of a state to look at really! Another wee update for today, just removed a few things with the heads up from Rory, how it was: Removed parts highlighted: Although I was wanting to take off the bracket as well, but some goon has crossed the threads on both bolts. I managed to get one off, but the other wasn't moving so had to leave that one in and hte bracket still there. And a wee pic of what you can see of my meisters since I was out at the car :
  13. Only vauxhall I'd remotely be interested in selling my 82 for would be a vx220 turbo or a monaro. Although I don't own a glanza so no real opinion on whether you should or not!
  14. Maybe lads But I'd prefer to do one once it's reasonably completed and mapped up better Another wee update for today though, got back from paradise (offshore) so had to clear about a metre deep of snow off the car to get at it to do some tidying up and fitting my new centre console which arrived when I was away. New arrival: Almost finished: The finished article: So it went from this: To this: Took a good hour or 2, but that was mainly due to having to tidy up Nick's wiring that he did on my boost controller, and I still have to tidy up the emange wiring, again it's a mess. It does work though but it's untidy.
  15. the alloy wheels have also grown an inch between adverts!
  16. If you're colour blind aye :-D
  17. sell you mine for a silly amount of cash
  18. The only thing I don't like is the tail pipe. 4.5 inch or something like that. But bang for the buck it's great like. Although I was thinking of the hks silent hi power but thats just personal choice as I like quiet exhausts until you give em shit. This one isn't silly loud but it is loudish like. My setup is a forged engine, hybrid td04, decat etc etc at 1.4 bar.
  19. My jap speed is a 2.5 inch bore from the down pipe to the next pipe that goes over the axle, that pipe that goes over the axle goes to 3 inch bore, same with the back box. Sure it's the same as the jperformance ones. tbh the jperformance ones look identical and have the same advert for them just a different name.
  20. Thats why I don't really want to sell my car, there is always problems when buying/swapping cars. Fed up of sorting other idiots "handy work". Looks sweet though, all minor stuff that can be sorted easily enough.
  21. I quite like my aem boost controller, and it's a gauge as well. Not badly priced either.
  22. bit late buddy but hope you had a good bday yesterday
  23. Dave's engine was one that was I could have potentially bought, if he had been radged, I doubt that he would have even offered to sell it at all, let alone to me who would be doing a long trip and would most likely find any problems with it. Just my 2p. And any slight hiccups with any deals I've done with Dave he's sorted out no problems.
  24. I soaked the lense in white spirits, total immersion. Then left it to eat at the glue a little, (it also eats the paint so deffo will need to respray the silver inside part. Then took the hair dryer and worked the glue out with a small screw driver. The lense slides out forward from the housing if you image it still on the car. But there is alot of glue in there and it's pretty tough stuff considering.
  25. The way I did it was white spirit, a hair dryer, screw driver and lots of patience. And you will need a glue to re seal them and while they are apart may as well freshen up the silver in them so spray paint as well. And a spare set of lenses if you're not patient lol
