    Been a rough road it seems with the parts not being up to standard :-( Sounds like progress is being made though in the right direction though and hopefully the fault can be determined and a refund if it is due to you. Keep at it bud :-)

    Check the lever rod that opens the vent just to be sure. As my old 82 did that then when I had a look noticed the rod has come off so moving the lever from hot to cold actually did fuck all lol

    The mk1 is probably going to be sold to it's old owner and I won't have the new car to replace it until next year tbh. Don't want to get it up here in this weather like. You keeping your 82 now boss? Also this thread has fairly kicked off lol

    I think I read that one on mlr, was about a tuner who was blaming bad workmanship on the engine build and the builder proving how it was bad mapping with the logs from the ecu and how the tuner had no idea about the ecu.

    There was a real funny one on a body building forum that was linked on another car forum describing his worst sexual debacle. He even drew pictures to help which made it even more comedy gold.

    Thanks lads. At the moment I have the car for sale just not my thing I feel and free up the funds for the starlet. And I will need the garage space which I have just found out just now lol. Although would like to keep it but think someone will appreciate having it way more than I will :-(
