I would think this to, had it on my 106GTi every time i put foot down would hear knock an it was lower engine mount lose....

This is a friends civic, he has had this for as long as i have known him maybe longer 6years or more... This has gone threw many change's, engine an body but has always been a head turner an so it should be.. Vince has put so much into this car, an so much into detail over the year's... X2 Looking alot better now, must get out an clean mine...

If its stuttering an staling between 5-7rpm then ya hitting fuel cut which is not good as it sound like your hitting it alot.. I only use to take mine to about 5.5rpm any more an it would hit fuel cut, so try not to rev it so much as your will only in time blow it up...

Friend had them on his 200sx when he got that, they lasted 3 day's befor we cut the bolts down to size, such an improvment to the looks...

Just take one of the bolt's out an see how long it is.... You should beable to buy bolts to fit from a local hardwear shop, or just cut them down... But im with you on the bonnet, i dont really like the look of it raised...

This should work ok, after try a good polish to buff them up an if that dont work maybe get a coat of laquire sprayed over them for a shine... Have you taken the mirror off to see if its pluged in???? Dont know about the oil temp but that bolt head left of filter is just ya oil return pipe...
