  1. Deal!!!! although i don't exactly know how im going to drive both of them to the track day You may have to get a train down and drive one up yourself! LOL
  2. That seems like a bloody good price to me!!!!!! Although im sure someone else will confirm. I was quoted £300 to have my buggy shot blasted, etch primmed and sprayed lime green. Obviously i have no panels/bodywork and that was to do the whole frame. Jason
  3. Thats probably about right.......i guess. What i don't understand is that all the American V8 cars are all at the £2000 mark so either that is the correct price or they have all been advertised wrong!!!! Im honestly going to buy those hotrods if they are that price shipped! Jason
  4. Touched Cloth, your having a laugh!!!! i bet he shat through the fucking seat!!!!
  5. its cheap for just the one but for 2 and if you read the blurb at the bottom it says that the price includes.......Price stated includes shipping, duty, tax, shipping agent fees and our fees. This is the UK landed price. Jason
  6. I know, and i just can't understand the price!!!!! £2350 for the both of them, doesn't seem right to me??? i have contacted him asking if the price is correct, if they are going for that price then im buying them
  7. I thought it may be for a fuel cell but there is no mention of one in the add and it still has the standard filler cap on the car so im guessing its just a stuck on piece of tat. On another note though, some of the cars on that site are sooooooooo slick its unreal. and some of the prices just don't make sense???? i will post one up........give me five minutes. I WANT THIS CAR............................chaser and why are these so cheap..................hotrods
  8. Whats with the random race filler thing on the boot???
  9. About time you changed the bulbs dude! I thought you may have done it when you had the speedo out? The bulbs are just on the back of the speedo unit so can easily be changed. should look even more sexual with some nice new bulbs. Jason
  10. I am determined to get along to this Didn't realise it was early may but will try and be there. I have just this second bought the rear coilovers, more steel, wiring and im working on the exhaust as we speak. Just so i can try and make this trackday!!!!!!! Jason
  11. End of January, hmmm that makes it better mate. Its going to be sooooooooo close but keep my name on there for the moment. Im going to go ape shit on the buggy in January and get as much done as i can. if i can get a reasonable amount done then it may still be on!!!!! But at the moment its just to close to call. Right im off to crack on with it Jason
  12. By the end of the month do you mean December??? as in 2 days from now? Im still really really interested Hou but its going to be so close that its unreal. I have been told that my operation SHOULD be at end of January/beggining of Feb. If thats the case then i will be off work feb, march, april and will be back to health (pretty much) by may. Problem is that the buggy may not be finished. I have been told i can't lift anything heavier than a full kettle of water for 3 months so can't really do much to the buggy and i think it may be a push to get it built. I could use the lexus but its in need
  13. Thanks Sparkster! It might be easier for me to source another long drive shaft than trying to find a LSD shaft as they will be more cash. Although i may get away with the standard shafts but don't know yet. They have already fitted the standard gearbox in place and welded on a mount so this will have to be ground off and moved over ;) But will be a better drive with the LSD box and may actually get some traction, little but not much
  14. I stand corrected On a side note Sparky what would you need to fit the standard LSD box? is it just s straight swap for the old unit??? Obviously i won't need the driveshafts as i can use the standard non-lsd ones as they are getting cut up anyway. Jason
  15. You will need the driveshafts also i believe. I think its just a straight swap but im not 100% certain myself. Also it may be worth changing your clutch while they have the gearbox off? Might mean a bit more moeny for the clutch but labour won't be much more as they are taking the gearbox off anyway. Jason
  16. Sorry to hear that dude, seems a bit dodgy i must say! They may be back for other bits if they got into the car so easily without damging it. Im sure your on the case now but time to beef up security. This is one thing that really has me worried about my project. I mean i have no doors, roof, windscreen etc etc anybody could just walk up and have off with bits. Im thinking about getting a clifford alarm but without the internal sensors as they will be useless but how good will that be. If only there wasn't so many twats abaout.....
  17. Milk and 2 sugars please! They look a bit out of place but with a carbon front splitter it would probably tie in better??? Or maybe some smaller 'cut down' versions???
  18. just a guess but i reckon he may have got the correct fuse by now, what with it being over a year ago that he posted this up
  19. Oh hell no, work won't stop for 3 months!!!! but will slow up alot! I could just throw all my money at it and it would almost be done by the end of the 3 months but i don't see that being money well spent. Sounds a bit wired but i want to be getting involved as the car comes together. I fully trust TGT but i prefer to be there as the buggy is built as i am reading the IVA manual as i go so i can see doing what parts will need to be done a certain way and what i can/can't get away with. Over the 3 months i will be getting the remainder of the laser cut steel parts made up: *exhaust flanges *m
  20. Could just be the fuse is gone??? Worth checking as its easy to do I don't know where the fusebox is for the horn as i don't have a starbo but it will either be in the footwell or under the engine bay??? Should be easily labelled up on the fusebox. Jason
  21. Thanks mate, had hospital check up yesterday and they have told me that the Op will be end of january/beginning of feb. Went through in a bit more detail what will be happening and its pretty scary!!!! I have been told that i can't lift anything heavier than a full kettle of water for 3 months so i WONT be working on the kitcar at all probably best though as there is a chance i could re-break my chest bone so not worth risking i guess The 'Demon' build thread is on several websites but you guys are the ones that comment on it the most and seem to be the most interested. I think thats why i
  22. quite abstract......... this one made me almost piss myself..............
  23. Thanks dude! Merry Christmas to you and your family also mate and i hope your back in a starbo soon And don't worry about Brum he will be getting lots of steriods in the new year. I have even started getting him some new drugs......he hopefully will have some LSD soon (gearbox ) and maybe even some laughing gas (NOS) Jason
  24. second that! Would love to see that sequential in action! looks a beaut! would love one for the buggy but can't afford it. Plus i don't think they do one for a mr2! I love this build loads, pure sexualness!!!!!
