Seen this before. There are a few 4efte mini's about as thats what made me decide on my project. I thought the 4efte would fit into a mini subframe but its such a tight fit that the subframe needs alot of work. Anyone who puts a 4efte into a mini and keeps the standard panels will need a HUGE shoehorn lol

Done it a few times. Worked ok for me. Make sure you get one that will send you the scan of the card. Much quicker. Check their feedback. Last time i did it, about 3 months ago, i had been sent an email with the code in under 10 minutes. Worked a treat

SR version is on the cards, however they may be a month+ or so as i don't yet have a SR speedo to butcher, plus i have a heart operation coming up. I have fitted the dials properly to the crappy cluster i have and they fit perfectly and are not too fiddly to fit. It all depends what you want from your car if you ask me. I have 2 cars, Neither a starbo, one i use as a daily driver and has all the seats in and a few mods for performance but as its heavy anyway there i sno point in stripping bits off. Plus its nice to have the ability to take passengers now and then. The other is probably about as light as any car could be, although it will be getting lighter when i start swapping bits over for carbon/titanium etc. This is built for speed and handling.....nothing else!!!! Im sure there are many garages about that can do the conversion. Im sure its not that hard to do yourself. If there are aspects that you can't do yourself then i would do what you can yourself then get someone to do the parts you can't do. There is a place in Basingstoke that i use for all my stuff. Company called ToyotaGT. they started out specialising in the mr2 but now do all toyota and lexus engines/cars. The 'Demon' currently lives there and they have given me a great rate (normal price is £40ph) i work on it now and then with them and they do bits as and when i give them money.
